Provides chords, piano and guitar, capos, looping and recording. All for free. If it had key shift ability, I would die right then as my life would be fulfilled.

I tried several chord recognition apps before I stumbled upon Chord Tracker. I'm amazed at its near perfect record nailing chords and blazing performance. Thank you for making this a free app as it's inspiring me and others to explore a wider range of music styles. As a feature request, I would like to see Ukulele added as an instrument choice. I would totally pay for an in-app add-on for that since I don't own a guitar and am still learning uke chords. Keep up the innovation.

It beautifully deconstructed one song. But now, it just plays weird clicks and noises when I try to play any song (including that first one).

Can't use a mic. Can't pull files from anywhere but your iTunes library. Totally worthless.

Pense que era mentira pero no. Esta app si funciona te da las notas a como va corriendo la cancion pero no da la letra de la cancion. 100%recomendada

This app is so helpful. I can record a band rehearsal and import into the program and there is the chord chart! The one thing I see that it needs is output to bluetooth speakers for playing along. With any iPhone after 6, you need the dongle to play to speakers and that means you can’t set the device to read while playing. (I like the printout idea also) Lastly - thank you Yamaha for providing such a useful, accurate app!

I’ll just start right off by saying, this is a great application for any guitarist or keyboard player. Play any song from your iTunes library (it will read other sources as well) through this App and it will give you the lyrics, key, bpm, guitar and piano chords etc. It’s extremely well-made, has a perfect UI and a full user guide is a tap away. Highest Recommendation!!

If you want a basic progression of any song in you library then this is the app for you. Great for covers. It doesn’t provide all the intricacies of a song but it does outline it well and give you enough to play along. From there you can figure it out or use a tab app. I suggest this over four chords or similar apps any day. And it’s free!

When it allows you to use a song, it works great, does everything you would hope for in an app like this. The huge problem is that the app is only compatible with about one out of every twenty songs in my large iTunes collection. The vast majority of songs are greyed out and labeled “This data cannot be selected.” This includes the songs that I got this app for in the first place. I’m not sure why the compatibility rate is so low, but based on all the five star reviews, I would guess that not many people are having this problem for some reason. Therefore, even though it is useless to me, I give it three stars.

Developers, please add these features: 1. Bluetooth compatible to speakers. That’s a no brainer. 2. When editing a song, such as transposing, etc., make it so you can save the edited version savable to favorites. Otherwise you have to edit again everytime you open that song 3. Why are favorites not saved across devices? Each device has to have its own list. Seems like last millenium Don’t get me wrong, I love this app!!!
