Bought discount codes off app, cannot add the codes to the app. Really terrible UI and UX design.
I like using the app and want to get alerts for my upcoming reservations. However we there’s no way to specify I *only* want notifications for my reservations and I constantly get notifications about Chope deals. There should be a way to customize my notification types. Otherwise, the app is fine and convenient to use. Could improve the search functionality and filtering
This is so frigging dumb. I just want to buy the chope deals and manage them in one place, and when I try to go to my vouchers in the app, it wants me to log in with an account that I don’t have and it didn’t prompt me to make when buying the vouchers. I’ll stick to using the website and email, thanks.
No way to contact support when reservation screw up! Secured reservation in the app but restaurant called to inform fully book yet no channels to contact Chope to seek redress!?
Use it all the time to figure out where to go. Booking is easy and love the chope dollars!
On one occasion I had a very bad Chope experience. I booked a table at a restaurant on Chope, received your email Confirmation, arrived at the restaurant.... only to discover the restaurant had CLOSED DOWN. Permanently. And not recently. How could your system have “confirmed” my booking in such a case?
Recently made reservation at Wild Honey Mandarin Gallery to use my chops voucher. Reservations need to made via the app to use the voucher. But Wild Honey required deposit for reservation, which I was not aware of. The app does NOT send reminders to pay deposit. And the reservation was not appearing in the app as pending. So was not sure if I actually had a reservation. Called the resto a day before to explain my situation and they asked me to pay my deposit, which I did. On the day itself, they said that my reservation was not via chope hence can’t use the voucher. Seriously, so many conditions and process to jumped through just to have one meal. I paid deposit of $50 which I am now have to monitor that this gets refunded. I am better off paying the full price than using chope voucher going forward and last time going to Wild Honey as so many conditions just to dine there. Stressful!!! Using app and booking should be a Breeze but it was not
