My favorite CYOA game

Jin's#1-lol

This app is just perfect. It encompasses 3 stories right now. I read “and their heroes were lost” first before going back to “and the sun went out.” I love how you get so many choices. Sometimes, you don’t have the information to make an educated choice, and I love that because it’s how the situation would actually be in you were there. The writers really carve out a realistic and believable world for the stories. The music is suspenseful and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I also loved the fact that you can watch a ton of ads to get 3 tickets which is very generous. Although some may say the interface isn’t developed enough as other episodic games, I actually love the simple interface more. It lets you concentrate on the story, the plot, and your imagination rather than cementing how people or situations look. I like a little imaginative space. Nothing but rave compliments for this app!! Definitely buy if you love CYOA games!

Watch tips, Really amazing story, fair systems

(Update) I just finished «and the sun went out» for the first time and let me tell you IT WAS AN EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER FROM START TO FINISH. I’m replaying it now to see if I can figure out the full story. A+ game, would recommend. It has great storytelling, fair systems, and it is probably my favorite I phone game ever ««APPLE WATCH»» if you want to use your Apple Watch, go to settings on the app and turn on Apple Watch (Original) I love the game, it’s a lot of fun and a great story. I’ve only gotten through most of « and the sun went out » but im hooked. There is a fair system for making money. there are « choice tickets » you use one choice ticket every time you make a choice. To gain them you can either wait, watch ads, or purchase them. I will usually just watch a ton of ads when I am doing something else (like watching tv) until I have about 100 tickets, then play until im almost out.

Awesome

Wanted an app like this for a long time but couldn’t ever find one. Only wish I didn’t have to watch ads all the time to keep the story going

Amazing

Absolutely loved the plot lines, choices, and outcomes.

More tickets for ads please! Fun, addicting!

The stories and choices keep you interested, but I’d like more tickets in between ads.

Thank you

I just finished AtSWO and it was so beautiful. That story will stay with me forever.

I absolutely fell in love with the story. It drew me in and it made me care for all the characters. I have no regrets spending about a day’s worth of time just to finish And The Sun Went Out. The ticket system was pretty good. I just thought of it like a commercial break, watching several ads for well over an hour of gripping story. In a good way, I will never be the same.

Hands down the most immersive game I've played ever

To be honest I don't expect much from mobile games. I just thought all of them were just some cash grabbing little kid padering, 5 minute games. But this is one of the first that is so immersive in it's story that's is genuinely astounding. Absolutely amazing.

Apple Watch

I can not get the game to load on Apple Watch. I was very excited to try the game out. But I can’t use my phone all of the time but I always have my Apple Watch so I love having text based games on the watch and there are so few.

Best CYOA Ever

(After having only played And The Sun Went Out) The story is the most incredible I’ve ever seen from a choice-based game. Even without actually having people talking, the background music and Moti’s little chirps (and a few sound effects like breaking glass) make the game alive. The choice tickets system not only works but makes sense as well, but I wouldn’t recommend buying 100 tickets because 100 doesn’t do jack. I’m glad the “watch ads to get tickets” thing works because there’s so many apps out there where the watch ads option is broken or there’s some heinously long or convoluted system to get tickets. You can get through the entire thing for free (unlike other choice-based games) but I highly recommend getting the story pass because it saves time, binge-reading, and the creators totally deserve it for making such an amazing game! I have one question, though... “You and 11% of players managed to (succeed)” what the heck happened to the other 89%??!! After And Their Souls Were Eaten: Didn’t like this story as much. Really short, and there are two occasions where you literally do not have a choice — do I surrender, or do I surrender? Do I roar a challenge, or do I roar a challenge? The ending also seems really abrupt and kinda confusing, because there are a lot of pronouns and a lot happened backstage. Also there was a lot of buildup for Miss Fairy (name excluded for spoiler) and then defeating her felt deflated and too short. Didn’t care for much of the characters either and found them forgettable. It was a good story though, well written up until the end.
