Best app for quick paced or slow paced program to learn Chinese words, extremely engaging with a multi tier program which is in the form of a game similar to Tetris, the learning/game is fun! I've compared this to about 9 other apps for learning Chinese, this ranks highest among the ten apps from my overall experience and participation of the various products. Worth evert penny of the 9.99 to the casual Chinese practitioner, the individual or group visiting China, the teacher or the academician. Stephen Verges - University of Oxford & Georgetown University

I love this app because it teaches me to write the hanzi in the right order, someone else said things are always written top to bottom left to right but there are plenty of characters that that is not true for! With the new tracing mode this app is better than ever!

I really do want to like this app. It's a great idea and very engaging but.... there are some serious flaws. The biggest problem is with the stroke order and direction. The strokes within Chinese characters are written generally left to right top to bottom. This app however wants you to draw some of them in weird order. It wants all of the horizontal strokes that tilt up to be drawn from right to left which is dead wrong. It may not sound important to some and may not be important to those who just want to recognize the characters but for those of us who want to know how to accurately draw chinese characters this is a huge oversight. This app needs an update desperately. How can you make an app to teach people how to draw characters and then teach people the wrong way of doing it? I've been self studying chinese for 2 years now. I still consider myself a beginner but I know enough to know this app will teach you bad habbits.

Why is the background spinning? Are you trying to make me dizzy, because this literally is the worst idea ever. I want to strangle whoever thought of this.

I live in Beijing and asked my Chinese wife and some Chinese friends in the English choir (I am the only native English speaker) about the stroke order and they all said the application is correct -- one friend has been writing Chinese characters for more than 70 years. Although sometimes it seems wrong, sometimes the stroke goes from right to left, because it is actually going from top to bottom. For the university student who wants to love it, please do and learn from it.

Should be worth 5 stars. Overall, keeps me engaged when learning words I should know how to write and others where I can easily learn the meaning. Easily accessible. And I actually learn quite a bit.

This is a great app, but I was wondering if you guys could make a Korean or Japanese version? It would be very educational towards the directed community and fun! Keep up the awesome work!!
