I want to love it- Not from a university student – Chinese Writer by trainchinese Review

I really do want to like this app. It's a great idea and very engaging but.... there are some serious flaws. The biggest problem is with the stroke order and direction. The strokes within Chinese characters are written generally left to right top to bottom. This app however wants you to draw some of them in weird order. It wants all of the horizontal strokes that tilt up to be drawn from right to left which is dead wrong. It may not sound important to some and may not be important to those who just want to recognize the characters but for those of us who want to know how to accurately draw chinese characters this is a huge oversight. This app needs an update desperately. How can you make an app to teach people how to draw characters and then teach people the wrong way of doing it? I've been self studying chinese for 2 years now. I still consider myself a beginner but I know enough to know this app will teach you bad habbits.
