Do you realize how many people review a game without leaving a comment? And that those who do leave a comment have usually had a negative experience or a very positive experience except for our trustworthy reviewers who leave comments to help others decide whether to buy the game. But to leave a negative review because it’s an “awful” game without giving reasons for your opinion is a waste of time and space.

Awful with so much issues

The puzzles could not be played. They would NOT turn or move. So many issues not worth it play. Why can’t you test these games correctly????

Only 3 stars to reflect my disappointment.

Experienced, as previously mentioned, a glitch at the end of the game. It froze on the last puzzle. Was unable to continue to the bonus chapter until I skipped that puzzle. Looked like a fun puzzle. Disappointed as this developer usually provides a quality game. Also disappointed that this developer is also producing such short games as the new trend seems to be . Would not have purchased if we had received a new game on Monday. On a positive note, this game did keep me entertained. There were many things to accomplish throughout the game. Disappointed that BF has started eliminating new games over a holiday to merely offer old games on sale. For those of us that purchase on a regular basis, this leaves us with nothing to play during those days when we have more hours to play. If this trend continues I may have to rethink my entertainment options.

UPDATE: Has anyone besides me taken notice of the fact that BigFish is advertising a new release which is NOT AVAILABLE IN THE UNITED STATES yet? It appears to be another installment in the Reflections series. Seriously, and it’s a game that should be terrific. Note to Catalina: thank you for the information in regards to the Five BN situation. Personally I think they are full of ??? and are creating a situation where they plan on price gauging the gamers, who will be so happy to see this game released that they will pay a ridiculous amount! I hope that I am wrong. Note to Believer: thank you! You just echoed what I have been complaining about for years. People will rate a game, say it’s awful or great but not give any reasons. That is not a TRUE REVIEW. I hope that you have enjoyed my review skills because I rarely do that to anyone. I hope I have made a difference. Note to KimTwilight: Hello, my friend! I experienced the same issue as you did at the end of the main game. The interface froze up and I had to reboot my game and skip the mini-game in order to complete the game. In addition, it was virtually impossible to manipulate puzzle pieces in the Extras section of the menu. Elephant needs to issue an update. Hence I lowered my rating from 3 stars to 2.5 stars. On to this game. There was nothing unique or novel about it, truthfully. We received all of the usual perks given to us by Elephant Games: customizable settings, teleport map, complex items and tons of collectibles (morphing roses, Chimera cards and puzzle pieces). I agree with Corntiques that we should have had indicators on the map to show us if these items were still available for collection. The graphics lacked visual acuity but I liked the color palette and the beautiful Parisian scenery. The storyline was quite weak, and had very little to do with Chimeras. This game exhibited some touch screen sensitivity issues, especially when trying to change locations on the teleport map. They weren’t horrible but mildly irksome, and we should be able to enjoy our experience. Normally their quality assurance is excellent. The HO scenes had variety, but I would have liked more unusual ones. I hated the puzzles/games, because most were of the boring rotational genre and have been seen many times over! There was a plethora of tasks to be accomplished at each location and I did enjoy the basic gameplay. This game was extremely short, inclusive of the bonus adventure. I would say the game was average at best, and my true review will be 2.5 stars because of the aforementioned reasons. Who knows if we will even get a new game on Monday? Last week we only got one game, and I purchased this game because I was bored. If you want this game, I sure hope all of you purchased it at the sale price; it wasn’t good enough to merit such a hefty price tag. In any event, we all know it will be on sale because BigFish uses any upcoming holiday (Independence Day) to give us a sale rather than a new game. Happy gaming everyone!

Fun & Enjoyable

Storyline along with the beautiful graphics and characters were enough to spark my interest, even though this game was relaxing - it made you want to keep playing. I thought the hidden object scenes were of a nice variety, while the puzzles were many, some being a bit of a challenge. There were morphing and collectibles to find - ( beware you must find all in each scene in order to complete some extra tasks at the end) Teleporting map was provided. Overall, this game is relaxing and enjoyable and methodically put together well by the developers. Trial is short, however I am pleased with this purchase. Happy Gaming ? Everyone! Just a note - take your time and see the different effects that the developer incorporated into each scene. Nice Touch! KdBoots ? Update - I am in agreement with another reviewer (H1ppo) The fact that we IPad users are Not getting the New Releases from Big Fish as in years past - I too am considering another form of entertainment. It is just too frustrating to be looking forward to a New Game, only to be disappointed. 1 New Release a week is ridiculous and the sales that Big Fish keeps putting on doesn’t do a thing for us regular gamers and supporters. I know myself and others have expressed this many times and nothing ever seems to change and/or our voice doesn’t matter. Back in the day we used to get a least 3 New Releases a week, which we were happy. Nowadays we often times just get 1 maybe 2 a week and there is no consistency. Hope to see things change soon or I too will be looking elsewhere for entertainment/hobby. Tired of seeing these older games on sale and nothing new for us regular gamers. I Rest My Case. KdBoots

BLINDED alright...

OH,CHIMERAS.. What Happened?!? Given the success of the last Chimera installment, I'd been eagerly awaiting the next, only to be sorely disappointed. ? I cannot fathom WHY Elephant is putting out so many lower caliber games, especially in a series that's been consistently better than most. ?????????? TEN STEPS BACK: I couldn't believe Elephant reverted back to the ridiculously archaic hoop jumping, the annoying back and forth, both used as fillers of time.....rather than using this new Chimera game to expand on anything slightly interesting, new or unique. This game simply blurs into the background, as did much earlier slapped together games, but is completely lacking in any type of creativity. UGH! There's literally ZERO challenge of any kind. NONE. ⌛️TIME NOT WELL SPENT: All you're doing up until the end of the free trial, (which by the way should be utilized to be the most exciting, in order to draw you in enough to WANT to purchase the game) is filled with nothing but tasking. It's the same old drudgery of running back and forth collecting items, with barely any puzzles or mini games (the few included are an absolute embarrassment) or interaction, leaving me... Dying of BOREDOM. ? ?LOWERED EXPECTATIONS: The entire time is spent rehashing the same old tired mess of missing or broken cabinet/drawer pulls, packages requiring the glass shard wrapped in cloth, tools to remove screws, boxes/cases that need an emblem to open....plus the standard and STALE array of coins, figurines, pencils to be sharpened, rats to be scared away, broken springs, etc. ....Come ON! ??‍♀️ The cash register mini game? This mini game highlight is easily solved by a 1st grader is insulting.....as is the "Great Work!" text when you locate something. PLEASE!? SOUNDTRACK: ? Reminiscent of awful background music, made worse by incorporating intermittent sounds of cawing crows/birds, might as well be "The Nails on a Chalkboard" symphony. ?I'd rather listen to my Mother-In-Law lecture me about how to properly cook, the importance of crocheting skills or the practicality/longevity of elastic waistband jeans. ?I wouldn't dream of actually paying for this collection of odds/ends that should have remained on the cutting ?room floor, so to speak, I sincerely hope the next one makes up for it. ?Elephant, you've GOT to step it up. Miss LC in SF ???
