This is an incredible chess app, including "analyze game," which shows you where you, the opponent, or the computer went wrong.

Works well and the rating system matches to your skill level well. I've played computer chess for years and this one is excellent.

The main reason to buy this over other programs is that the GUI is perfect, bug free, and more pleasant to look at. This is very important when playing on a phone. I also like how good this app looks on the iPad. The program has levels that go from beginner to chess master and the analysis mode is also useful. Playing rated games is fun. I like this feature a great deal. I have recommended it to my students. Also I think that the learn chess tutorial is excellent. I was very happy with the original tChess, but I like how the author keeps adding new features. I certainly feel like I got my money's worth. I play on Game Center every day. Challenge me to a real time or turn based game!

After playing this for a few months, it hit me all at once how nice an app this is. Everything is really intuitive, and there are no rough edges. It looks great, and I love analyzing my games after I play. It's the best chess app I've used.

I haven't played chess regularly since I was about 10 years old (20 years ago). I rediscovered how fun this game could be using this app and learning strategies quickly and efficiently.

I am entirely satisfied with my purchase. This is the most enjoyable, challenging and supportive computer chess program I have yet played. Thank you.

This is by far the best chess app I own. The ability to review large chess tactics is great and now is has an analysis feature (with graph!) that allows we to check games on the go! It's great and cannot recommend it enough!

I am just learning chess and the technical aspects are very good, however, the board itself and pieces are very unattractive to look at. Too bad the aesthetic appearance does not complement the technical presentation. The three D option is severely lacking. For $7.99, I expected better. The picture advertising the app looks better than the actual board.

The analysis features are excellent, especially the graphical features on the timeline. I also like that I can dial the difficulty down to 500 so that my six-year-old can play without getting walloped. The rated game feature is great for incremental challenges as you improve.
