User Interface Issues

10/17/16 Update: I discovered you can't go back to the previous tactic to comment. Not good. There are brilliant user submitted tactics but the app itself needs to improve its user interface. Original review: Just downloaded the app and played with it for a few hours. There are some irritating user interface issues: 1) You should be able to GO BACK A MOVE. Especially in multiple move solutions. Going back to the start position each time is mentally jarring. This is the most irritating omission of the app. 2) The main menu icons should be displayed on the bottom at all times. Right now, you either have to solve the current puzzle or take a hit for failing to solve it, then you see the menu. What if I don't want to solve the puzzle but just want to go to the forum, say? 3) It wouldn't hurt to show your rating and the position rating at the START of each position. 4) The default board and pieces look rather dark to me. Charging us for a different looking board is just silly.

This is a great program to help practice tactics. I pay it for hours at a time. Occasionally there is a problem that rejects a correct solution, but not often. A very ugly board comes with the app. However, it still worth downloading.
Too many duals

App nice but too many duals in crowdsourced puzzles - very frustrating. It doesn't matter if you mate in three if there is a mate in four too. This isn't "X to move and mate in y".

Liking it overall so far, save for the occasional crash requiring restarting or freeze where my piece is stuck part way in the middle or doesn't quite go where I intended to drag it &| it won't give me any credit for alternate paths to winning (which may not be as short)! Has potential!
