Great game

I love it graphics good levels progressively harder. My chess skills have gotten better as I've gone. I was finally able to beat my dad.

Cheater

davidjsouth

This game cheats. I've had it's King in check or checkmate several times and it's King takes me out. But yet I'm always forced to move away when in check.

Excellent free app.

Flordots

Nice To Meet You Brother

Unplayable ads cover first row of pieces

Centx

Problem playing, pieces behind ads will not move.

Awesome Chess

Master Cheif117

I like the detail and how you let us move the chess pieces with our fingers so we don't have to tap then place. But could we move on our own though.

A real chess workout

SunnyGuy53

It is possible to beat this chess app as long as one plays at a flawless level. That in its default mode. I have not felt the need to see if it can play in a stronger mode! A fine chess app. Mark S.

Very Challenging

Mh35903

It's default setting is level 25, I suggest go to menu hit setting and move the level down a good bit. As you win and become at ease move it up one or two at a time. The features at very good and once you figure the icons out easy to move thru them.

Excellent Program!

I downloaded the free app and soon paid for the pro model because of positive reviews I had read. However when I started using the Pro version none of the features I was expecting to see were visible. It was late at night and I wrote a negative letter to Apple for which I received a refund. But trying out the program the next day I discovered that the advanced features are only visible while holding the iPad in Portrait View. Now I have found that the features are quite good for practicing playing chess against the computer and using the skill levels, and coaching cues. For anyone using the app in landscape view, turn your iPad to Portrait View in order to access the advanced features.
