Use it as a budgeting app

I use it as a budgeting app... I just create different “accounts” for all my budgeting items (gas, groceries, power bill, student loan bills, etc.) and one “un-budgeted” account. I record my entire paycheck into the “un-budgeted” account, and then transfer the amounts needed into each of their respective accounts until there’s nothing left in “un-budgeted.” I’ve tried a MILLION budgeting apps, and honestly none of them are better than just using the Checkbook app AS a budgeting app. Plus right now you can get premium for a year with only one 9.99 payment (wish it was free, but I guess I’ll just create a “Checkbook App” account to budget for. ??♀️)

I wrote a review, but it keeps asking me to write a review. So, here’s another one: this app is quite buggy, and each release introduces more bugs. Now, it checks for FaceID *after* the app is closed, pausing the phone and preventing you from being able to continue what you’re doing.

Open the app and it copies whatever is in your clipboard! You’ll notice the pop-up if you’re running iOS 14 and open the CheckBook app.

As someone who has a traumatic brain injury and regular checkbook pen and paper is difficult, this is a godsend. It creates new neural pathways with remembering and refreshing a memory I thought I no longer had.
