Recurring not working

I would love the hell out of this app. But my monthly recurring transaction are not actually recurring in my app.
Developer is MIA. Lack of updates. No cloud backup.

This app is decent but lacks updates and does not back up to iCloud. The developer seems to have given up as they are unresponsive.

Theres a bug and i jus spent $2.99 on it and didn't realized the last update was back in 2014! Dont think they will be fixing anything soon! Don't recommend!

It has a lot of flexibility and does the job but I doesn’t remember settings it allows you to adjust the order of accounts then when you try to save it that way it reverts to some other order.

I really love my new app checkbook. Is is really very easy to work with and it is just what I needed. I got the pro which it is well worth the money. I've never had any problem with it. I would highly recommend it.

Because after you set up an account you cannot edit the name. The description field for the entries is not long enough. The balance line is hard to read and I can barely see negative signs. There is no way to balance the checkbook. To do this you have to put in a “reconcile entry”. You can’t put in an entry with a zero amount. The “recurring” entry feature does not work into the next year and when it does work it does not put the right date on the new entry. And somehow It doubled up on the recurring entries. The description mentions features that I have not tried because I did not know about them because there is no tutorial explaining how the features work.

Everything about this app makes me happy. The one "issue," if any, is that it seems to have a bit of difficulty with recurring charges but it's easy to self audit. The customer service, however, is atrocious. It’s not worth upgrading to the paid version. I’ve been using the free one since 2013; there are some other quirks - like not being able to keep my accounts in the order I want - and I’ve written them repeatedly to no avail. I’ve never gotten a single response. It’s a good, simple app for someone who isn’t looking for bells and whistles.
