Check ID works without sending your data to any other party.
Privacy is paramount as no data from the scanned barcodes is saved or transmitted to any another computer. No analytics are collected at all.

Check ID will display the following fields from an identification card if available: name, date of birth, age, gender, hair color, eye color, height, weight, expiration date, and address information.

Check ID also includes a "Guest List" feature. Guests can be added to a list ahead of time from the Options screen, or they can be assigned a guest list after scanning their ID. Add guests to lists (e.g. VIP / Banned / etc) to welcome repeat customers.

The “Minimum Age” alert setting is user-configurable. Check ID will warn you when it sees a date of birth above or below the "Minimum Age".

This app should be charging 4.99 for the fact it allows unlimited scans unlike others, because I would well worth pay to use this! Very simple interface and results are nice and clean. Of course like any id verification its still a form of secondary info and still need to look and compare with the photo however on crafted cards this is the best tool to show its homemade when the info can't scan or doesn't match on

I really found this app useful. Unlike similar apps, it does not have to go to the server to function. You can read a card even if you're not connected to any server by any means. It's only real flaw is that it doesn't remember each scanned card for later recall.

I scanned around 30 North Carolina IDs, all displayed the same birthdate, 03 July 1020, and only displayed the first name of the person. All the Canadian IDs I scanned only displayed the 993 year old birthdate. Other than that, every other state that was scanned displayed fine.

Pay almost 5 dollars for this up and it doesn't work. There is better ones in the App Store stay away from this one. Requested a refund let's hope they do it.

As soon as I scanned my id it showed all my information right away. And for those of you giving bad reviews, maybe you are trying to scan a fake id that doesn't work.
