Chatbaka only cool if....

This is a cool app. It converts your audio to a text and you can send a audio message or as a text. When you speak it sends automatically after you speak . This app uses cellular data as I found out. Probably deleting it. I don't believe it's worth it unless you are willing to have your cellular data use go up on your phone bill . I asked an they said they don't work when you are on the road unless you use data
Not so hot

Good idea. Not so good execution. It's not totally hands-free and just speaks out whether a message has come in or not. There's nothing in this app that my iPhone doesn't already do itself and, since I still have to open my phone and choose to hear the message, it's purpose is pretty much defeated. And, since the text messages come from a different number, dedicated notifications are bypassed and the messages wind up mostly ignored by your intended recipient. On the good side, the graphics are kind of cute and the microphone button is nice and big. Other than that, it's pretty much a wash. I'm uninstalling.

Downloaded, checked it out, didn’t like it, deleted it. Thought that was the end of it. No, now I’m getting text messages from Chatbaka “reminding” me that I haven’t used it. Quite intrusive and annoying.

Loved the hands free. Translates your words into text and sound clip, sends both with no option to choose one or the other. Uses data, tracks location, and reroutes your texts through a different phone number. Uninstalling. No thanks!

Nowhere near competes with the convenience and ease of using Siri, the only thing it does that Siri doesn't is send a group text (assuming you had this group set up ahead of time, which you CAN do with Siri). The app doesn't text direct, rather it texts on your behalf, sending both a text message and a (why in the heck) voice message. I've never given a one star before - this app wins the trophy.

I absolutely love this app, it's a great way to receive messages while driving and return messages while driving, without looking at the phone or even holding the phone.

When sending a txt it sends it as a different phone # different area code so the person doesn't even know that it is me . Not happy .. Deleted
