Not so hot – Chatbaka Voice Messenger Review

Good idea. Not so good execution. It's not totally hands-free and just speaks out whether a message has come in or not. There's nothing in this app that my iPhone doesn't already do itself and, since I still have to open my phone and choose to hear the message, it's purpose is pretty much defeated. And, since the text messages come from a different number, dedicated notifications are bypassed and the messages wind up mostly ignored by your intended recipient. On the good side, the graphics are kind of cute and the microphone button is nice and big. Other than that, it's pretty much a wash. I'm uninstalling.
