Did Netwalk Give Up On This?

Ambrose Little

The live video feed (the coolest part of this) is locked into one orientation. It works if you have the iPad propped up by the smart cover. That's it. But it is cool. Great concept if only the orientation worked right. It also seems to forget your font color setting. Seems like something easy enough to fix, but if you go to Netwalk's site, there is no mention of this app. Makes me think they've ditched it, so if you're hoping for a fix, it seems doubtful.

Great idea, poor execution.

The idea is stellar, the app lacks attention to detail. iPad version: Everything works as expected, however the video/camera view has terrible resolution. The pixelation of the image reaches levels I thought were impossible. iPhone version: Resolution works as expected on the phone, but the orientation is off. THE ONLY ORIENTATION THAT WORKS NORMALLY ON THE IPHONE IS LANDSCAPE WITH THE RECEIVER TO THE LEFT AND HOME BUTTON TO THE RIGHT. All other orientations do not match the video orientation.

I think the only perk of this app is to take a live screen shot w the time and date imprinted Onto the shot. It's difficult to hold cam while pressing both buttons to grab the screenshot so mission NOT always accomplished. There is no reason to buy this app unless u just want the kick of the kick...totally understandable.

Falsa expectativa

Hay un problema con el app. Aunque el iPad esté vertical, la cámara registra la posición horizontal. La posición de los números sí cambia, pero la cámara no. Lo extraño es que en internet se ven fotos de gente a quienes sí les funciona la orientación de la cámara.
