Worst Apple TV app ever

The app is just straight up broken on my Apple TV. I constantly have to enter the multitasking window and swipe this app up if I want it to work. Half the time I enter the app, all I see is a black screen. Often, while I’m watching the news, the newscast will just freeze. Swiping the app up does nothing to fix this, when this happens I just switch to a different news source. If these problems persist, I will be deleting this app from my device.

In today’s political climate I am increasingly grateful to CBS for prioritizing high quality journalism. This is my go to television news source and the app is terrific. Highly recommend all around.
Not so good on AppleTV

No problems on iOS (older iPad and newer iPhone versions). However latest update for tvOS fails to live stream CBSN. I get a black screen within the app (the app loads and offers choices but selecting live news results in black screen). Sometimes it works, leading to the question is it an issue at the source (CBS)?
