Fun to play, but a lot of things cost too many gems. I realize you want people to spend real money on your game, but make the numbers realistic. 200-300 gems for things is just dumb. And some goals you have to spend 400 gems on the item just to get 100 gems in return. That's a terrible return on investment.

I love this game but something that would make it better is to be able to get rid of old no longer needed items collected over time. When youve played for awhile itmakes it hard to find things in your inventory when its bogged down from old items that are no longer usable from previous plots.
Disappointed you can’t restart

I stopped playing years ago. I was tired of my kingdom, and left the game. But I did like the game. I was pleased because I got a new phone, and remembered this game and was looking forward to starting over and redesigning my castle. But my new phone loaded my old castle and now I can’t start a new game. This is VERY short sighted on the part of the developers. I spend money in games, but got bored and wanted to start over. They have lost quite a bit of money on me alone because I won’t play the old game and haven’t for YEARS. There are other games. I can’t imagine how much money they are losing from other people like me who want a fresh start. Even the Sims lets you restart, they know it means people will reinvest money in the game. Disappointing and not very smart financially on their part. Sigh. Guess I’ll go find another game.

Everything takes too long to complete and I’m sick of constantly being asked to download stupid games as a challenge. I’m done.
Every Challenge is a Scam for Money

Castle Story entices players by having new "challenges" regularly (sometimes weekly): "Successfully fulfill these 10 stages and win THIS!!" But the individual stages are impossible to get through without eventually spending money. They get progressively harder, as they should, but so hard they're impossible to beat. Progressive stages ask you to collect certain items by performing tasks around your village. Fine. Except, when you perform those tasks...you aren't awarded the promised items! Example: I currently need to collect fur from a particular creature. To find that creature, a "shattered tuftkin," I have to fish in ponds. I have 8 ponds in my village. Over the last 2 days, I've "fished" in them 7 times. That's a total of 56 chances to find the creature. How many shattered tuftkins do you think I've found? NONE! Not. A. Single. One. Instead, the game gave me FORTY-EIGHT boars. (Note: It's extremely out of the ordinary to get so many creatures when fishing from ponds. But that's exactly what happened. Instead of giving me even one of the creatures I needed, it gave me TONS of a creature I didn't, in almost EVERY pond I fished in.) The only way I'll be able to collect the items I need to fulfill this challenge is by spending money...which is where the scam comes in. But I'm done. Every single challenge is exactly the same. "Do this task to get this item...but maaaaaybe get that item every 10 or 12 or 15th time you do the task." It's a little hard to collect dozens of items when the tasks rarely ever award them. I've tried dozens of challenges, with the same result every time. Total scam. I'm done, and this app is gone from my iPad in 3...2...

I love this game. The only thing is accidentally losing diamonds. I play all day long. The princess and the knight got married but nothing happened after that- no house together nor any reference.would also be nice if some things didn’t take 12hours- like Ivy’s house. But regardless this is my favorite game and I just really enjoy playing. I wish there were others like it.

Well I can’t find the CastleVille anymore. This is like that game. I really enjoyed it. I just started this game. So I’m hoping to play more surprise stage. But I’m hoping to see my King or Prince or Queen in my Kingdom. Thank you.

And would have given it 5 stars if not for the fact you can only send 3 friends a gift each day. What’s the point of even adding more than 3 friends? Seems like an attempt to force ppl to spend money. Also it’s starting to get a tad boring since it takes forever to complete tasks as well as receive energy, which maxes out at 40. Sad since I feel like I’ve put a lot of time in and I don’t have much to show for it.
