I love tower defense games and this is one of the best I've ever played. The levels are challenging without being impossible. I haven't needed to pay to beat any of the levels, but I've bought a couple limited time offers for the alternate hero powers and to support the developers. The game is beautiful as well! Try it out and I don't think you'll be disappointed! New content keeps being added consistently - I started playing when there were 40-50 levels and there are now almost 160. Keeping up can be a challenge! [EDIT] Thank you for the clarification about the ticket timer for the Gauntlet. I see that it does say 2 Hours very briefly at the start once you claim a ticket - maybe it would be more clear if it could round down after half an hour? I thought that it wasn't working at all, but it is easier to time out knowing that. Having a lot of fun with the challenge - I'm about to get the winter themed skin for Kaylen and excited about that - will there be a way to get the Frostlord skin as well? Wouldn't mind paying a few $$ for that and a couple tickets (& maybe a few perks or gems) as a package to help the gauntlet go easier ;) Thanks for your responses and updates to the game - this really is a level above other tower defense games!

I loved the game until it for some reason wiped all the progress I had reached up to chapter 18 on the last level. Now I am currently at chapter 1 level of 1 ?. How does a game magically restart itself? I didn’t even delete the app or anything.

You have said that you increased the likelihood of finding gold but not noticeably or in any amount that matters. It takes at least a week of opening chests to get enough gold for a single low-level tower upgrade. You can barely finish missions due to the weak towers that you can’t upgrade.

Really cool game, but the last few releases have some bugs that really need to be fixed Unplayable now on iPhone 6s. Game crashes randomly when I try new levels. I'm tired of wasting consumables only to have it crash when I'm about to win the level. I won't be playing until they fix this problem. I can confirm that I still experience crashes with version 1.29

I think this is my favorite TD game on the iPad since Limbic’s Madness 2. Decent difficulty ramp, not too much grinding, although that is a pain, and the ads are done perfectly—they don’t interrupt play and are just optional for bonus rewards. I started playing just before the update a lot of people are complaining about with the switch from materials to cards for tower and hero upgrades. I love this change! I would have stopped playing soon if they hadn’t made this change. Before, it was waaaaaayyyyyy too difficult to get what you needed for upgrades.

Used to be fun... really can’t progress anymore without spending a lot of $$$ since their update. Time to start browsing new games... Developers... sorry to have to write this negative review. I’ll keep periodically checking for updates to your recent changes to see if any positive updates will be made. Thanks

My favorite game but this new update makes it impossible to upgrade. Coins are non existent but I have like a thousand cards for everything. I love this game but I can’t even farm anymore cuz it gets you nowhere.
Great Game, but Fix the Crashes!

The game seems to take a cue from Kingdom Rush and, while it is missing the interactive environments and humor, it has a much deeper upgrade system. That said, the upgrade system takes a cue from the much-maligned “treasure chest” system in other games, which is a means to get you to spend real money. The BIGGEST frustration is the crashes following the completion of a level. The game allows you to watch an ad after completing a level to increase your winnings, but in my experience the game crashes ~50% of the time. I’ve easily lost 10-12 levels (and the time involved) which is particularly aggravating. I’d give it a higher score if they’d just fix the crashes.
