This game is the worst...it’s like being in an abusive relationship. Every so often you will be able to win without spending money but whenever the game creators want to take their families on vacation or decide they can’t drive this old 2017 car they will have an “exciting new update”, which is when they basically introduce an “new” character. This new character is an old character with different hair or a beard and can be won by completing the Gauntlet!!! The gauntlet is a special event where you have to get 1.5 MILLION points to get the top tier prize which is an old character with a new costume or hairstyle with a unique name. THIS IS A MONEY TRAP!!! You can’t win this gauntlet without spending money...waves...and I mean wave of these bomb guys will come in and they will destroy every tower you have and you can’t destroy the bomb guys because you are trying to beat these pink birds that I presume are made from steel or that metal Wolverine is made out of. This game use to be fun and challenging but now it’s just a way for us to waste our money. During the holidays they had a Gauntlet where you could get 2X points and that made spending your money a little easier. Bottom line if you want to send someone else’s child to college, play this game. If you want the new and cool characters that these creative masterminds come up with skip the gauntlet and wait until it’s over and then buy the character for far less than you would spend on gems to recharge your sentinel tower so you can have a chance during the waves of bomb guys and indestructible birds.

I'm incredibly stuck because getting gold it's almost impossible! All my towers and in green and red also so all of them needs an upgrade and just cannot do it, it's frustrating having that situation and also keep collecting cards for something you just can't upgrade, everything is expensive and play without paying it's just impossible, also this game needs to have a daily bonus like every good game because everyone it's gonna end up deleting it, and I really love the game it's so sad to have to rate it one star, thanks.

I have been playing this game and it was going great. It still is going great but every time I try and open the game it makes me play the tutorial every time. It’s just annoying not being able to skip it. Once I get past the tutorial it’s picks up right where I left off last time. It’s just playing the tutorial every time when it opens. If that was fixed it would be a solid 5 stars.
Fix The Gold Shortage!

They changed the entire upgrading method recently. With the old way I had extra gold and not enough 'resources' to upgrade things. Now I have enough 'points' to upgrade every single level of every tower and every hero several times over and no gold. It is impossibly difficult to come by without spending a lot of cash. The game has reached a point where I can't upgrade towers without gold, but I can't earn any gold without better towers. You can't even grind on older levels to earn anything. I have messaged the developer several times, and they always respond quickly, but it has been to no avail. The old way was a bit more confused, but was much more balanced. Sad, because other than the gold situation it's a five star game all day, but with it unfixed I'd say save yourself the aggravation.

Could be a fun game but the need to pay to advance even a single level at a time ruins the whole thing. Upgrading your towers to a certain point you'd think would be enough to get you through a handful of new levels but they've designed it so that, at least deeper into the game you literally have to upgrade towers and / or heroes for every single level to advance. What's worse, the economics of the game or insanely greedy. It costs you $5 to purchase 8,800 gold coins which will not even get you a single tower upgrade once your towers are level 8+. So asking the player to come up with more than $5 to do a single tower upgrade just to have a chance to beat a single level....come on man. Ridiculous. The only other way to get gold is to wait a day and a half for your knight chest to open for free and half the time there's not any gold inside anyway. If there is gold then usually you won't get more than 6000 gold with any single opening. So again if you're trying to upgrade towers that are anywhere beyond level six you're going to have to wait for three days in order to get enough money to upgrade your towers. Completing quests can help but again, no guarantee of gold. Too many games like this now and the only way the market will ever change is if players unite in resisting the pay to play / subscription model.

Just updated the game and every time I go into the game it tells me an update is required. But the game is overall really enjoyable Since the last time I reviewed the game has not been fun the levels are getting incredibly difficult to manage and the economy can’t kept up I have a bunch of upgrades ready but no gold to use maybe if the gold economy could keep the game would be better

It’s a fun game but it needs a serious update where the basic in- game currency is concerned. It cannot be earned when you’re unable to progress in levels. I currently have over 100k worth of upgrades ready and no coins to purchase them. Replaying old levels grants more cards and upgrades (albeit slowly). The chests might grant some coins but the upgrades always outweigh the coins received, if any are received at all. I don’t mind paying to purchase a new aspect of the game (new hero etc...) but there should be a way to earn coins regularly to help supplement all those upgrade cards and advance in the game.
