Been playing now for years and game still holds interest. One of the best free to play games, spenders can get things faster but free players can get pretty much everything too just slower. In game chat not the best so usually supplemented with a chat app. Game wise wiki, forum, and group chat provided. Tons to to takes years to finish most of the stuff to do and battles with small (10) and larger(100) groups are forever.

Let’s start that Gaea changed the game entirely, and that screwed everything up. When they changed it, I found my iPhone login has been given to someone else’s toon. When that happened my original toon I have to log into using the castle age login. When I got a new iPhone, I had to start over with a new toon. Months later Gaea did another change, and that one was locked out forcing me to build yet another toon just to get into the game. Best part of all is they deleted my last one star review. Stay away from Gaea products.

Just purchased through Oracle ... money was deducted ... I got zero FP, no free chests nothing... except that $$ charge went through TWICE to my account. BEWARE !!!

After playing for over six years. I have lost my account with no help from developer. They want to know. Month and year I started playing. Who has that information after 6+ years. I got a new device and cannot receive my account. I have all the information they should need email associated character code etc. saying all that they won’t retrieve my account. Customer service makes this review a one This situation also caused the rest of my family playing to stop. Don’t waste your time. Crappy owners of game. Awful customer service

I have been a part of my guild for years! I do not want to leave the game but cannot log into my Facebook toon through the app and the app keeps restting so that I have to make a new toon just to get in so I can use my email log in to play the game. I used to play ALL of the time (even paying for certain bonus packages when I liked the deal) but it is so difficult now that (1) I am not going to waste ANY money on it and (2) it is starting to feel like work to just pull my weight in guild. Please fix the app so that it is easy and I can have fun again!

You can’t even buy FP reliably now. App crashes. Apple won’t refund. Gaea says it’s not on them. So all you do is lose money and don’t get what you paid for. Don’t bother

The game is decent but there are many flaws which make it forgettable. First is the constant crashing. This mostly happens when I reacting with any mail or notifications. Second is the iOS login is broken. I have lost three different characters to the iOS login before hundreds of people became bound to the SAME iOS login. This happened over a year ago and is still a problem. The amount of players in game have dwindled and I’m sure the reluctance of the devs to fix the issues has a lot to do with it.

I’ve been playing castle age for a good while now (more than 5yrs) and have several friends who play along with my family. It’s a fun button push game with lots of things to keep you busy, but it seems recently the game crashes a lot. I understand there is a web portal but it’s just not as convenient as an iPad app. Sure wish the devs would fix these things: Game crashes when reading 2-3 mail items quantity selection pull down doesn’t work in land purchase;must buy land 1 at a time Crash when buying more than 1 consecutive pieces of land Crash if tap to attack monster/duel/invade too quickly Not all achievements gain credit Application support web portal crashes when issue is reported I work in corporate software development for a international EPC company, and I was really disappointed when I took the time to describe these issues in detail and provided screen captures and hitting submit crashed their support site... not sure if these guys are trying to keep the game alive or not.

They got a fun game at its foundation but it’s bogged down by bugs and pay to win mechanics. It constantly crashes and most of the rewards your supposed to get from achievements just aren’t given. If you want any meta generals you better be ready to pay because most favor points from achievements won’t be rewarded.
