Doesn’t work right

The app wouldn’t let me place an order due to some malfunction on the apps end

Bad….I’ve ordered and paid through the app before and when I got to the store to pick up, they hadn’t prepared my order. They claimed they never received it. However they knew what to cook when I asked if they would make mhendrickson73 food as I’d already paid for it. So who knows. No one ever apologized. “Our apologies sir. There seems to have been a glitch with our app on your phone communications with the store. We’ll get this order ready right away.” Nope. The response was “we don’t have the order.” “Ok, well I’ve got a receipt here on my phone as well as an email confirmation. Can you make my food?” “We don’t have an order for you.” “Ok, well then would please process a refund/return the funds to my debit card? I can show where the payment processed and funds are gone from my account.” “We don’t show the funds being processed through on our side, so no. We can’t.” “So what can you do to assist me? Nothing? Will you just make my GOSH DARN (no, that’s not what I said) food?” “Yes. We’re rather busy so pick up will be ready in 45 to 60 minutes.” “Fine. That’s insane to me that I can show and prove the order was placed over 30 minutes ago with an estimated pick up time of 25-35 minutes and now I’m told it’ll be up to another hour. When I was in the hospitality industry a missed order took priority and we expedited the process to try and rectify and make the customer happy. Happiness just isn’t in my future I guess.” “We’ll get to it as quickly as we can. Please pick up in 45 to 60 minutes.” Then there was a similar time we placed an order via Casey’s iPhone app, paid using my app points turned into cash. When my son arrived to pick up, the manager advised that they could not process the payment using the “points into cash” as the app suggested. Sorry, outta luck pal. We happened to be in between paychecks and funds were not available, so we simply did not pick up the order. Heck, I don’t even think they made it. But no call back advising they couldn’t make the food due to processing the payment issue using the points. No. Instead my son was rather embarrassed when he wasn’t able to pick up the order nor place it again live and pay with cash or debit cause we were broke. But I digress. The good? Oh there have been plenty of times where the process, payment, and timely pick up were all great. No issues at all. But we all know the bad times reign prevalent in our memories over all the “no problem” orders. And whats most surprising about those bad experiences, is rarely if ever is there an apology. You don’t have to be wrong to apologize for the situation and correct an issue. But overall, I enjoy Casey’s pizza and cheese sticks quite a bit and will continue to order.

The app And redeeming points is the most complicated ! And be careful that quick you could use them all for a 12 dollar pizza.

Always the best pizza and best customer service, staff is always friendly and courteous, and they know you by name. They don’t seem to have a lot of staff turnover, which is nice to see the same friendly faces every time I visit this store. Both locations are in close proximity to my house and I visit this store, the Ohio street store discards their donuts at 9:00 so if I want a late night snack I can always count on them to have some sweets!

We absolutely love the Casey’s app! It is so easy to navigate and place your order for pizzas and other deals available through the kitchen. We also love how we can earn and use rewards points for gas in the car or convert it into Casey’s cash. I have always been a big fan of Casey’s since moving to Iowa forever ago, but am an even bigger fan now. Thank you!

Casey’s has always had great, delicious pizzas! Always kind employees willing to help, good prices on food/drinks and their app is easy to use. Now let’s get Trump back in office so these gas prices can go back down.. Creve Couer Thornton’s is cheaper for us when it comes to gasoline . sorry. But overall 5 stars for y’all! Thank you!

The app says a time to pick up, and when you get there they say it will be 10 or 15 minutes after you arrive.
