I love it and compared to the Fuji app, this is well worth the $24 for paid features(not required but does have neat features; geotagging, ) Other reviews mentioned the price is outrageous but I feel it’s fair because it’s not just a transfer app but offers other features as well. If you’re not a fan of paying the $24 they also have other options like a subscription plan to split up the payments but this isn’t needed if you just want to transfer. I think the subscription would be well worth it. Considering you’re funding for new features that you would get with your subscription once they release. TLDR: Better than Fuji app, well worth it.

Much better tools available for free and much cheaper. This version is stripped down and not usable as is. $24-$30. Look elsewhere To developers: Thank you for your response. The trial version is so restrictive that won’t allow usage of the features. A watermarked version at low quality will be a much better way to get to use the features and know the app better. The free trial as is listed requires stopping the billing after the free trial and that is the pain. To me, it is done that way so the client will get billed and I have to go and cancel after being charged. That is by design and I am against that model hence not taking advantage of the “free” trial which will end up costing anyway.

One time purchase of Pro features does not work. Clicking the link in the app does nothing. Only the odious “subscription” feature seems to function. ALSO, BEWARE that the “subscription” feature auto-renews so your credit card will get charged if you aren’t paying attention.

Live view doesn’t work. When I use on any other app using the Sony Camera Remote API it works. :/ anyone else???

I do a lot of long exposure shots with a D7200 and I was getting frustrated with constant trips to the body to alter settings after a shot or series of bracket shots. This gem is amazingly priced way cheaper than some alternatives and is actually more stable and less hassle if your camera has WiFi built in. If you do any tripod work, this is a must have.

This app is much better than anything on the App Store in its category. This is the only prescription app I have. I do it because it’s worth it. Richard

I loved this app until I got a new camera and now it’s not supported. So this went from being my favorite app to my least used. I understand that Sony changed something in their software but other developers have managed to resolve this and make the Sony A7riii work without issue. And while I won’t delete the app I’ll kill the pro features and wait until my camera is once again supported.

Updated review: Still very unreliable connection after latest update that was suppose to fix bugs. The app is unusable right now if you want to download raw files.
