Watch app is buggy

incostantemoto

I bought this app specifically for Apple Watch functionality, and it’s less than stellar. You can’t customize the lengths of the workouts, even though there’s an option to do so. Swiping or scrolling with the Digital Crown doesn’t seem to make a difference. The rings around workouts that tell you length of time are also generally unreliable. The workouts themselves are great, and the concept is amusing, but it’s disappointing that this app doesn’t work as well as it should, especially for the price.

Circuits with a side of sass

Blaze Birch

I’ve been using the 7 minutes in hell several times a week for a couple weeks now. Having sound cues and Carrot announcements for the exercises, break times, and rest times makes it a lot easier to do circuits— you don’t have to think, just follow the directions. It gets my heart rate up and gets a good exercise in quickly. The first few times after the intro lesson I would forget that “Kowtows to Kuthulu” means pushups and so forth and have to wait for the image of my meatbag avatar to show me what to do. I enjoy the conceit, though— its more fun running in place if you imagine evil ostriches are after you. And Carrot’s snarky remarks liven up exercise time. I’m definitely getting the expansion pack of more exercises soon.

Worth the $3.99

Love this app as it makes me laugh! I wish there were more of a variety in the exercises, but two sessions of seven minutes in Hell gets me sweaty and feeling accomplished!

Please update to current iOS

ImRickyNix

Please update this app to work with iOS 12 and forward to 13 that will come out this year! I do love this app! The only thing is sometimes it crashes! Please fix!

My fault for purchasing

Jkpars84

I have a disability. I thought this was going to be a fun beginners workout, and I can physically walk and even exercise a bit although it feels like my body is being ripped apart, but I cannot jump. It said I needed a chair to jump on? My vertical is 1". And I'm so fat, if I jumped in the house I'd end up in the basement. It would probably register as a 5.0 earthquake. I should've just eaten the $4.

Amazing

Loved every part of this app. It was worth the in app purchase. The most motivating app I have found, and I have tried many!

Awesome but one issue

ASKuruja

I really love this app. It helped me get into working out in the first place but after my injury, I was stuck in bed. When I returned to the app, the workouts were too intense for me and I wanted to start over from 0 but it doesn’t seem like there’s a way to do that.

Needs looked at

Absolutely great app, the exercises are hilarious. Unfortunately it seems abandoned by the developer, the app hasn’t been updated to run on modern iPhones, and it still lists their google+ acct when that’s been closed awhile now.
