For testing with the lite version we recommend our hardware, since some functions depend on the right adapter. Save yourself time and money using the correct adapter right away.

Useless without their $80 adapter
Audi Q5 and TTRS USER
It’s junk. Doesn’t work without their $80 adapter. My own WiFi adapter works fine with Carista which has all the same functions. It’s a bait game. Don’t fall for it unless you are prepared to spend $130.
Lost purchase after update

I previously purchased the full app and was anxious to use it since I finally got the Carly VAG Pro. I connected and made a few changes to the coding. Then I decided to do the update and I lost my purchase history. No it is asking me to purchase something I have already purchased before. Not happy at all.
Was good. Now getting worse
7" bird
No longer works. Previous version worked, barely and with little features, and still fails to detect known failures I had in car. This current version now, rendered useless as it would not even connect to car. So sad. What's happening with you guys. Your apps and your adapter is hardly cheap. It's fiendishly expensive with these repeated failures. So far this is my third purchase. Overall Apps for Toyota and Mercedes works fine. But Carly simply can't get their act together with most of the VAG range. I had issues with the Merc version once, but that was sorted quick enough. But shockingly they can't quite get their heads around the VAG version. I've had the trial version tested out first before, and that worked fine with my ELMs adapter. Later I decided to buy their proprietary adapter, inorder to release more features, and that's when all the crap started happening.
Newer Audi owners still need attention

I have sent multiple app sessions and emails with the same concern. I have not received a clear answer on when the development of the inspection due or electronic brake operations will be completed and available. Customizes are nice to have but I was told the operation would work but I am still with no solution and I have the full version.

I bought the adapter to do a service rest on my 2012 A4 and with the VAG version it failed. I was told by their support they were working on a fix but it’s been awhile now and I’m considering sending it back

Used it on December 17th to code my new 2013 gti mk6 and worked amazing. I use it now 1/5/17 and it keeps freezing the app and stating cannot code now, super frustrating and waste of money.
No longer works with Audi rs4 b7

What a farce. First bought the apps as it work with my generic elm327. After updates, had to further buy the gen 1 adapter to keep the apps working as the updates then disallowed other generic adapters. So Bought the gen 1 Carly adapter and the full apps for the Merc. Bought the gen 1 adapter because it was shown as compatible to the Merc and VAG, both of which I bought fully loaded apps for. Something that used to work with both Merc and VAG now doesn't because of recent updates, which now prompts for purchase of another adapter for over €60. Never prewarning that the full apps needed there proprietary adapters in the first place, and sneakily updated out the capability & further updating into forcing one to buy more adapters. Miss selling info, and updating into lesser capability. Respect lost for this kind of business tactics, and misleading info on the site.
Few coding options with little impact

I bought this for my 2014 Audi Q7 thinking it would have similar coding options like for my 2012 BMW X5. What a waste, coding capabilities hardly exist and the ones available were worthless. Would get my money back on this if I could. The one for the X5 is as advertised.
Overpriced with limited coding capabilities

Easy to use but extremely limited coding capabilities. Please add more coding functions for VW Jetta 2017. OBDEleven costs the same and provides more coding capabilities with pre-defined apps and manual coding.
Great in concept, but still waiting

I paid for the pro version and I bought the Carly dongle with the hopes to be able to run/clear diagnostics, reset service warning, and basic coding. Unfortunately, there is very limited functionality so far. The company keeps saying they're about to release more capabilities, but months eventually yrs go by with little to show. Bought for a 2012 Audi A7, but pretty useless so far. No coding capability. Can't reset service warning. It can reset oil service interval, but not impressed as that can be reset easily via dash selections. Was able to run diagnostics, but was unable to identify error codes and could not clear. Thankfully, I was able to use a generic app from the App Store for free to pull diagnostics and clear a recent error. I want to like this, but so far, a waste of my money unless they start producing some actual working functions in the app. No excuse considering it's 2018 and my car was built in 2012.
