So Happy to Have Found This

Lorigayle

I have imported Onirim, Urbion, and Friday and love being able to play these games on the iPad when there is no table space for the real thing. I made good scans of all the cards and then corrected and enhanced any images that needed tweaking using PhotoShop. Yes, this took time, but for me the improved card quality was worth the effort. Some reviewers have been disappointed that the app doesn't do more of this work for you, but if you have the skills and want more control over the appearance of the cards, it doesn't get better than this.

Never opens since last update.

Please fix.

Does not work on iPad 1

Looks cool, but doesnt start. Probably a system incompatability, but if so I shouldn't have been able to download. Waste of money.

Love it but...

Excellent tool! Only thing is top bar is almost entirely covered by iPad menu...maybe this is new from ios 7? Thanks!

iPad 1 crashes on start up

This seems like a really awesome app. Too bad I just dropped a couple bucks for something that immediately crashes on startup. Fix this and ill re-rate

Simple Fun

I love playing board games on the iPad, but many of my favorite board/card games aren't available. This opens up a lot of opportunity. It is not a high frills tool, but with a small investment in time you can use it to carry your games with you and even more fun, play online. The tool doesn't mange the rules, etc. but it allows you to play as if you are the table with someone. With the online features my brother and I can play some games across the country! Mike, keep up the good work, there is room for improvement, but you have a great start, and the basics are covered well. If you are considering buying it, keep in mind, it takes a little work to gets started, but once you have played a few games, you will find it was well worth it!

I love it

Excellent

Watch the tutorial video on their site first, then with some initial setup one can play just about any physical card game on their iPad. Very nice.

Fantastic App

If you are willing to put the effort into it, there's nothing else like this is the App Store. I can't wait to see how it progresses!

Labor of love (on part of the player)

Great app for playing card games. For big games (such as LCGs), the value you get depends very much on the amount of effort you are willing to invest importing / organizing your cards. If you take the time to import them in a logical / grouped order, it will be much easier to build decks than if you just start scanning in cards. This review is based on using the app to play a LCG with > 500 imported individual cards, which is very doable and the end result is awesome. Technically, I have only seen one minor bug in this version (token under a tray gets moved when dragging a card on top of the tray), which is outstanding. I find the card gameplay UI to be intuitive and it provides all the tools I need / expect. There is a lot of room for improvement in the importing / deck building portion of the app, however. Right now there is no way to copy portions of your card collection (it is all or nothing), and no way to delete individual cards (they can only be replaced). There is no way to insert cards in the middle of your box, new cards must go at the end (so you must plan ahead to leave gaps in your collection for new expansions). When deck building, there is no way to filter or sort your card collection, so you will need to know yourself where that single card is (among up to 1000) when you want to add it to your deck (and you must scroll through your collection 12 cards at a time to find it). It would be wonderful to see some sort of simple metadata we could manually add to our cards and use to search and sort (e.g. I would add card number and type at minimum). These kinds of useability improvements would make a great app simply EPIC and I am crossing my fingers that the developer is not finished improving it yet.
