Great card-collecting RPG

I've only been playing this for a few days, and I'm already loving it. The gameplay is very simple, but still highly fun and entertaining. There are tons of characters to get, and quite of few things to do, so you won't be bored with this game. I'm impressed with the free-to-play aspects of the game. For one, there is no energy system, unlike a lot of games like this. Which means you can play as much as you want! Then, they are pretty generous with their premium currency. You can easily get a good team of heroes without spending any money. And, maybe it's just because I'm a huge fan of pixel art, but I really like the visuals. Everything is 8-bit, but things still looks good, though. And the animations are pretty detailed and enjoyable to look at. There is a decent variety with character design, as I haven't seen any two characters that look the same. Overall, if you like card-collecting games, or RPGs, you can't go wrong with giving this one a try. Why are you still reading this review?! Download this game!

So the update makes it that I can't download on my iPad Air2. Interesting game, if I could play it again.

I just started playing this game, and I'm already hooked. Very good animations, cool characters. The only thing I don't like is that you have to wait 8 hours to try a dungeon again. That seems a little too long, especially if you're trying to unlock duel mode and you have to wait a long time to redo dungeons to get experience points. Other than that, I really enjoy this game!

The game does not provide enough decision making in the least bit. Currently, the gameplay resides entirely on slow dice rolling (which take around 2 seconds but feels much longer because you repeatedly have to do it and it's so mundane) and very objective choices, i.e. having to choose between "hit the enemy for 20 damage" and "hit the enemy for 10 damage". The game feels so slow because you are just mindlessly tapping away at the screen hoping that the combat will soon be over so you can get your measly XP. I cringe just thinking about how slow and boring this is. It reminds me of the card game "war": the result of the battle is mathematically chosen prior to the start of the game anyway. It's boring.
