This has helped me through many difficult times, as well as helping me with teaching myself to meditate. I really like that there are multiple meditations that do not require an in app purchase or a monthly subscription.
Great app, small annoyances lose a star

Great app - get it. I just wish they'd fix two things: -sleep stories and meditations assume you sleep on your back...with no explanation of if/why that's important. As a lifelong side sleeper, this continually annoys me and distracts me a bit when they're taking you through meditations as if you're supposed to be on your back -the warning every time when I stop playing a track. I get it. How many ppl do you think care about the tracking anyway? Tell me once and that's enough. I only stop things anyway bc I want to start over.

The app is great, I love the nature sounds and the guided meditation. I was excited to see how many of them were free. I have severe anxiety and depression, I’m in college and I stay stressed. I have no money and I thought it was nice that these guys are on my side. However, I’m incredibly disappointed that all of the ones that show as free, only the first day out of the seven is free. So I’m not going to get nearly as much help from the app as I was hoping, being that I can’t afford $60 a year for everything else. The collections that show as free should BE FREE. All of the ones marked as premium I know I can’t get. But when I start a collection not marked as such, I was expecting to be able to finish it. Instead, I feel cheated out of it.

What a fantastic app that has the capacity to change lives. Worth every penny and time spent with it. Couple of thoughts: In the recent masterclass addition, I don’t like the mention of the teacher’s own platform for mindfulness that costs money to use. To me, this cheapens the class. While I like to be able to listen to the ambient noises outside of the app, there should be a pause/play button. With respect to iOS and AirPods, the app should automatically stop any audio when AirPods are removed from the listener’s ears. Thanks.

Get the Insight Timer app instead—you can use it for meditation and it’s free. This app charges you for year up front and you can’t get a refund if you use it for less! I had no idea that I could sign up for a monthly membership instead of yearly. It forces you into a year automatically. There are no warnings given that your free week is almost up. And if you go to cancel it (once you get the email that you have been charged) it tells you you are unable to get refunded. I canceled it as soon as I could, but I’m still stuck paying the $60. It’s crap, and I feel cheated!
