Callblock helps stop annoying, time-wasting telemarketing calls with the world’s biggest directory of telemarketers – over 2,000,000 classified entries from over 100 countries!

You love your iPhone – except sometimes the phone part and, in particular, the telemarketers so often on the other end of the line. Telemarketers make 148 million calls per day according to consumer group Private Citizen and do-not-call lists (where available) do not work (and weren’t even meant to for many types of telemarketers) according to governments themselves. Callblock works to put an end to these calls.

Callblock blocks unwanted telephone calls not iMessage, SMS, or MMS messages. To allow Callblock to block calls:

1. press the Home button on your iPhone or iPad,
2. tap the “Settings” app,
3. tap “Phone” > (under “Calls”) “Call Blocking & Identification”, then toggle the “Callblock” switch on.

To unblock calls, navigate to the Callblock app.

Enabling the app or making changes in the app may take up to a minute to take effect.

One of the best spam blocking apps I have used. Started with the trial version and loved it so much a subscribed to the monthly plan. It’s simple but very effective. Definitely an app worth trying. Highly recommended! The developer did a great job with this app.

This app doesn’t work for me because I don’t get calls from 800 numbers or other long distance numbers. All my calls from prefixes that are shown as a local number so these calls aren’t blocked.

This App is a MUST-HAVE!

Got this app today because I got tired of receiving all of these calls. I researched around a bit and decided on this app. It has great price, a nice UI, and a universal block list, meaning everyone can contribute to it. It’s a must have, and it blocks those calls perfectly so I don’t have to deal with them. The functionality is great, the design is user-friendly, and it lets the whole community contribute to it. Great app overall.

App is amazing, but I’m having one issue

The app works just as advertised. Since I downloaded the app, I haven’t received any unwanted calls. The only problem is that I’m on call at my job. I have my job saved in my contacts. However, the app blocks my job from contacting me. It’s been twice so far where my job has tried to call me in to work, and weren’t able to get through. How can I get the app from blocking my employer?

Call block works for those 800 numbers. There is a mini subscription fee so it doesn’t damage your wallet. In order to have the app function though, you must subscribe before you can mess around with it. No worries though since you get a free trial and can cancel anytime.
