Each CHP incident reported contains the time of occurrence, location, and details of the incident.

Was a great app until the last update. Closes as soon as you try to open it. I've deleted and reinstalled the app with the same result.
Latest update broke app (fixed)

Edit-2/8 update resolved prior update problems, app is now working again for me. Newest update causes app to no longer work on iOS 7.1. Needs to be fixed and, like many other apps, better tested before rushing out updates to "fix" the watch and 9 issues

Not quite a perfect app

The app works well, and is easy to navigate. It provides multiple choices to get road and traffic info. The map function is great. I can't give it a 5 star rating because I just listened to the Chico CHP office close SR149 for 2 hours because of a bomb threat and the app never showed a single thing. It's probably because the agencies did not put the info out for the app to access. Still, this needs to be addressed by the programmers.

I like this! Not quite as good as Oregon's TripCheck, but the best I've used for California. At times some of the camera images are not available, but that's probably a function of the cameras and not the app. Also gives CHP incident reports, rest stops (and whether open or not), road conditions, and chain controls. The ads aren't too intrusive, but if they offer a paid "ad free" upgrade I'll buy it.

I downloaded the app fine, and from what I can see so far it looks good. However, to get more detailed/specific info I need to create a user id. I have tried and tried. But after I enter all my data for an id, the timer just spins and spins and spins. Nothing. I'll try again tomorrow. For now the app is OK. It I could create a user id I would be able to say if it is a great app or not.
