I love this calculator. It gives you the result without pressing equal. It’s is easy to use with large numbers.

Yet another update Came back to review my previous reviews. Still a great app in 2021. I use it even for simple calculations b/c I know I can easily get to more complex features without starting over in another app. The extra functions (including the tape) don’t get in the way but are there if I need them. Update³︎ I like this app so much I felt compelled to revisit my previous reviews. Very pleased with the EE option for exponent entry (E key). Probably an easy change, but most developers wouldn’t bother. Continue to be amazed this app can fit a full scientific calculator into a portrait layout on a smaller screen (iPhone 6s). Other calculators require rotating to landscape mode but I keep the rotation lock on so that the display isn’t constantly flipping back and forth. And it looks like a traditional sci-calc (in the vein of the original 1970s HP and TI handhelds). Keep up the good work! 2018: Update to my 2015 review: Still giving it 5 stars because there are so many good features and the annoyances are relatively minor. I keep this app on my phone's home screen so I can get to it easily. Niggles: I find the real-time calculations distracting and haven't seen a way to turn that off; I prefer to wait until I'm done to see final results. When compared to (physical) calculators I've used over the years (I'm old enough to remember when a 4-function handheld was a big deal), I stumble over the square-root and some other operation keys. Old-school algebraic calculators had you enter the argument first, then press the operation key but this app requires you to press (e.g.) square root first. Habits of 40+ years are tough to break, and IMO this algebraic implementation is a little too strict, esp. when working on-the-fly – with little or nothing written out beforehand. An option (or separate mode) to alter this behavior would be great. Really minor: Old-school calculators labeled the E key as EE (Enter Exponent), and I often fail to recognize the key when I need it; an E/EE label option would be nice. From my previous review: Really like the parentheses in the basic mode – a small detail but very useful. Also like that it can support the scientific mode with the portrait display – saves me from having to unlock rotation to go to landscape, which I really hate about the built-in calculator app. (Remainder of previous review deleted.)

Easy to use

I use this for figuring adjustments to knitting patterns and occasionally for sewing. I like very much that the calculator retains my work, so that I can refer to it later.

Calc HD Pro Lte

When I purchased this version, I thought it was “add free”. It is not. Very annoying. The same two, by the way, keep popping up when I am doing a calculation. There are offers to purchase games. I am very disappointed with this app.

Why do the ads still up here after I have purchased the full version?

P.A.R.K.E.R.

Unless I’m doing something wrong?????? I purchased the full version of the calculator pro and when I open the application on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, the ads still appear. The only way the ads disappear, is if I go back to the App Store and open it from there then the ads disappear. What is the fix for this? I tried downloading again and still the same thing. It’s like I get the ads even though I paid for the full version and I get the full version without the ads, only if I open it through the Apple App Store. This is not good. However, I really do like this calculator pro app. I just can’t stand the advertisements especially since I’ve paid for the full version........ Developer, please provide a quick fix for this, as I really like this Calculator Pro app. But I need to get explanation for this and a quick solution please.

This is great

I have bought and paid for other calculators to use in my business. They say they removed the ads. Well they did remove the ads for just a short time. Then the ads came back. I emailed the makers of this calculator and ask them how long will the ads no longer appear. They said indefinitely. I am absolutely sold on this calculator. It is easy to useAnd easy on the eyes. If you’re looking for a good calculator that does everything you need this is the one. $10 is a small price to pay for a good product.

This App works great. It is easy to use and the history tape is why I like this App over others. One caution, however. If you buy the ad free version, you need to delete the “lite” version from your device. Otherwise you may inadvertently load the wrong version and still be bombarded with ads.
