Features are important, but it's the little things that count, right? Little things like a design that looks like it belongs on your iPhone; big, easy to press buttons; a delete key in case you hit the wrong one; and picking up right where you left off if you are interrupted by a phone call--even in the middle of entering a number.
Features:
1. Algebraic entry
2. Scientific calculations
3. Conversions for
- Length
- Area
- Volume
- Temperature
- Mass
- Speed
4. Logic calculator supporting base 2, 8, 10 and 16
5. 10 memory registers
6. Numbers range from about 1e-313 to 1e308
7. Displays 14 significant digits
Mike W is the best programmer I've ever met. This calc is destined to be Apple standard. I'm excited for his 3.0 version.
You cannot write in algebra mode! Is the same as the standar calculator of the os of the iPhone!
I don't tote a calculator around, but more and more, I find myself wishing I did. However, I don't make a move without my iPhone. The "Calculator" app has been a great find, well worth the cost. Unlike the built-in packaged iPhone calc, this application includes a wide variety of pre-made conversions. Volume, Area, Length, Mass and Logic functions each receive their own screen of keys at just a touch of a button. This app uses gestures that make more modern, fluid sense for those of us used to Macs and Windows functionality. I've had to unlearn some old-school calculator habits because of its more modern, intuitive procedures. I appreciate this app, it has given me one more reason to regard my iPhone as one all-encompassing, powerful tool.
Good for very simple math but I can't even get done with my algebra 2 homework using this waste of 10 dollars try a diff calculator before this one
I'm not sure why the last reviewer couldn't do their Algebra 2 homework. I found the calculator had everything I needed for undergraduate and graduate level Bioengineering classes. I like that it keeps track of the order of operations as you go, and I especially like the conversions portion of the calculator, which I'm able to use for physics and chemistry calculations. The calculator is also nice and easy to use when I make price comparisons in the store as well. I highly recommend it.
Really a good calculator, but almost every time I turn it on it crashes. I have learned to enter a number and press a function key to crash it then it is good to go. You can run any number of calculations after it crashes. It just has to get the crash out of the way. I use it every day and love the conversions.
