Great Pixel Art App

zamnation

I had been looking for a pixel art app for a long time, and C64 Paint XL answered my prayers. It could some features like copy and paste, but this is a great start. If you are wondering why there isn't a huge selection of colors, it is because of the Commodore 64's color pallette. Overall, a great app, and the only one of it's kind in the App Store.

AWESOME!!!!!!!

Amazing app. It's great. Even for people like me with no artistic talent whatsoever, you can still make great pictures and it's a lot of fun! 5 stars.

Great app... But...

I would really like it if it can have the ability to change the colors like everyone else is requesting. Other than that, this is an awesome app!

It mega Paint. The Best! Very much it was pleasant, still to add a manual selection of color. Then BugFix, sometimes takes off I do not know why, this program can is very exacting to mine 2G 3.1.3? I advise to all fans C64. Excellent Paint

Help!

It crashes on my iPod touch 1st gen. It might just be a problem with my iPod but i don't know.

Fun app to design 8 bit figures

Fun app to design 8 bit figurines and icons from the days of NES. It is easy and simple to use. Possibly something like using the iphone cammera mode would a a good addon to the app with the photo library.

If you love this kind of art, you'll love this package. Im old enough to have owned a Commodore 64 back in the day, and ill say this is MUCH more fun and friendly. With this app you can create great old school pixel art. That said, I do have some ideas for improvements... Like the others, I would really like to be able to at least modify the palette. It's cool that it sticks to the c64 palette, but it would be much more versatile if that could happen. A line tool would be really handy when trying to construct hard edge objects...like little commodore 64s. I would really love to be able to drop an image in the background to use as a guide. An old school text tool would be REALLY cool. To get that full on Commodore feel. Once again, great program!!!
