I’ve had buzzfeed for almost 8 years now, and it is the most infuriating app I have ever used. It’s laughable that it’s a “news source”, because half the time words are misspelled or sources aren’t correct or the entire article is just absolute nonsense. I seriously can’t understand how this platform is still alive. I would put 0 stars if I could, but I wanted to try and let people know how absolutely useless this app is.

Crashes almost every time I open a post

I had to delete the app to make space on my phone, but reinstalled it recently. Since the reinstall and I’m guessing the most recent update, the app crashes a few seconds after I open an article. There really isn’t any point in having the app if it’s crashes and makes everything impossible to even read/look at. Very frustrating.

Breeding ground for hate

I used to love Buzzfeed but it has turned into a breeding ground for transphobia and racism. The comment section is clearly never monitored and users who repeatedly use violent language (including telling people to commit suicide) have accounts that are months, even years old. Buzzfeed is one of the most toxic, unsafe sites on the internet.

Overheats my phone and lags

I have an iPhone X and the latest iOS. I love Buzzfeed and go on the app everyday. Unfortunately the latest update overheats my phone and then lags the whole app. I’d love to be able to use the app again, hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Freezes All the Time

Sooooo tired of all the ads. I opened up one article and counted 15 until I got to the bottom. Deleting it. So tired of it

I think that the stone has a strong glimmer, but it unfortunately does not have a glint. Obviously when you’re looking for brimstones, the glimmer quality is as important as the shimmer quality, but is not nearly as important as glint. I’d rate the glint on this app 1/10 and the glimmer as 7/10. This is a tough choice, but I stand by my decisions.
