I don’t care to ever write reviews, but this issue is really bugging me. I’ve had the app on my phone for a solid 2 years, and throughout that time I’ve had instances on multiple occasions where it randomly logs me out and says, “Sign In Error.” At a certain point I just gave up logging into my account, and using the app as a whole. I haven’t been logged in for well over 9 months. It’s a shame that an app with such potential is not being used to its fullest ability, because of an elementary school issue that, apparently, a crap ton of people are facing.

I used to love this app but have since deleted it. The articles used to have variety and about things people cared about. Not anymore. The articles are the same just with different titles. Buzzfeed used to write about all views of the political parties, now it’s just one sided. It’s very obvious which side these writers are on and how they are trying persuade others to change. The same with the pandemic articles. There’s more than 1 sized Buzzfeed!

the report button of the comments is so useless. i reported a comment a couple days ago for having a slur and the comment is still there. not to mention, they are still having issues with the occasional spam comment. i also don’t receive any notifications if someone replies to my comments on the app. lots of the articles are just clickbait and the articles don’t even bother to cover a wide range of topics anymore. they write about the same people and events ad nauseam. buzzfeed used to be my main source of news but i’m starting to read it elsewhere as these authors like to push their own agenda.

can’t sign in

I haven't been able to sign in for months. i figured it was because i had an android and everyone knows iphones are better with app updates and stuff. now that i have an iphone and its STILL not working im just going to assume its a buzzfeed app problem. the app is cool and all but if you’re using it in hopes you can have an account, just stick with the online website because the app is useless in that department. deleting and reinstalling the app doesn't work, signing in with an email and password doesn't work, and signing in with google, facebook, and/or apple doesn't work.

I find it incredibly disturbing and disappointing that your ‘home’ feed has ZERO Information on the troops that are losing their lives over seas. Your editorial department should be ashamed. Prior to January, your ‘home’ feed was filled with ‘information’ in regard to the Trump administration and it’s missteps however, now I see nothing. How unfortunate. Do better Buzzfeed. Be better Buzzfeed

So many glitches

I love this app but there are so many glitches. It keeps saying that I’m disconnected from the inter web when I’m not. Images don’t always load. So if they fix those glitches, I’d give it a higher rating.

Is it just me or are all the gifs on the app completely distracting? Especially when I’m reading list articles with stories. The repeating movement of a 2 second gif on the screen while I’m trying to read a paragraph is so distracting, I usually scroll up or down to hide the gif. And then I’m reading something at the top or bottom of the screen. Otherwise the app is great, but I’m just tired of trying to process reading something on Buzzfeed with a ton of moving gifs all the time.
