I have this program and it was my hands down player for files since I could make playlists easily and enter my own SMB path, but the latest releases seem to have broken stuff. One file doesn't play sound and another I have with subtitles is tinted green. I won't buy the full version if this is how the current version is working. This does have the best gesture interface though.

I can connect to kodi and my external drive off of my kodi / openelec box and I can browse my drive and play files just fine. Airfling / all cast etc wouldn't see anything I had.
No Audio for Most H.264 MKV??

The Bad: I couldn't get any audio from any H.264 MKV video and I tried at least ten that work perfectly elsewhere. The Good: No problem with audio from AVI files. AFP/SMB network play worked perfectly. Summary: Either you only watch AVI or, if it's MKV, you watch it without audio; yep, in silence.
