Has grown some bugs

I have used this for five years or more. My wife and I share the lists. Over the last year or so a disconcerting behavior has appeared. As I shop, things are added to the list that neither of us have added. I do not know how this happens, but when we started using the app this was not happening. With this strange behavior the app is just not trustworthy now.

Why are there product ads on this expensive app?

I paid a lot of money for both the iOS and desktop apps. They are probably the best grocery list apps available. However, after not using them for a year I open them up today to find there are product ads being added to my lists. If this were a free app I could accept that. But on an expensive app like this?! Shame on the developers who decided to push ads on this app. And why am I getting a response from the app developer that they want me to contact them so they can look into the problem when they must be aware the product ads exist? That’s crazy. Stop pushing annoying ads if you are going to charge a hefty fee to buy the desktop and mobile apps.

My husband and I love this app. We share the list, so it helps us stay organized when one of us is shopping and the other remembers an item we need to add to the buy.

my go to shopping assistant since february 2015. it helps me save. it stores my previously bought items. this app is easy to use.
Wonderful but...

I’ve paid for this app, use it constantly and recommend it to everyone. My primary issue is that it doesn’t use the iOS autocorrect or spelling, so I’m constantly correcting entries. Please fix that or I’ll have to use another app.

I shop for a family of 6 and this app saves me so much time. Love the color system and you can change it to suite your needs. I love how it presorts it for you so you can just add items. Overall great app and time saver.

I can make my list and share it with my husband and vice versa! So helpful when we do those quick trips and have to add a couple more missing ingredients!

I still am impressed with Buy Me A Pie. Stupid name, but who cares. It works perfectly every time. I always have my phone with me. I always have multiple lists going (Dollar General, Kroger, Lowes, ingredients list for Fat Soup because I can never remember what I need to buy when it's time to make a washtub of soup for the freezer). Walk into any given store, pull up the list and I'm off. No more standing in the middle of the aisle blocking traffic trying to remember that last thing I think I need. The app simply uncomplicates. Running low on eggs! Put it on the list. Done. Don't have to think about that again!
