Crashed on my 3G and crashes on my 4S. Tried to contact manufacturer multiple times but no reply. 20 dollars wasted. I wish I had 8 more hands to give this app 10 thumbs down.

After trying Buildcalc and cmpro Buildcalc is clearly the winner. Just like the ad says it is better with more features and easier to use and to display all calculated results.

I do so love the baluster layout function.... It frees up so much time to do what I love best: grinding! Also great for quick modifications to layout. Only sometimes it crashes on save, would also be nice to be able to save jobs separately. But that won't detract from my 5 star rating!

App has not been updated to support iPhone 5 after its been out for over a year. Don't buy this app, it's dead.

I have been using this app for a couple of years and before that a separate Builder's Calculator. As a carpenter this has become an invaluable tool and has really transformed my phone into something much more. I have had no complaints at all with the performance of this app until the dawn of IOS7. As mentioned in another recent review, the sounds of the key pad are gone and the display is too small forcing fractions to be cut off visually. I hope the developers haven't fallen asleep at the wheel and keep on top of these changes. I really don't want to familiarize myself with a new building calculator app or for that matter go back to carrying a separate calculator altogether. C'mon, step up and stay on the cutting edge! Thanks.

I'm a general contractor and this app has become the only calculator I use and as you all know we go through calculator after calculator looking for the right app for all our varied building needs. My search stopped here.

It is once again the best construction calculator now that it supports the iPhone 5 and I os 7!
