Annoyed

TracyBoog

I was excited to get the BuddyTag however I am annoyed with the set up. You are only able to have 1 phone track each tag. Every time I turn the tag off I have to re-enter my child's name-that's not all ending but annoying. I guess my kids will be known as blue, red and black from now on. At this time the pager feature is not working. I love the concept, hoping it gets better. Suggestion: retain names Different alarms per child

Not impressed so far

App not recognizing tags on i5s. No screen to even start adding tags. Customer service not so much

Great idea-but with poor support

MBmommy1011

I purchased two of these devices to work with my iPhone for a trip to Disney. There is absolutely no support for the devices. I have sent emails to find out when an update will be ready to work with iOS8 and have heard nothing.....

The app worked great until the iOS update. Please fix this!!!!! My kids are important and the money I spent on the BuddyTag is worth it IF the app works. Please please fix it!!!

Needs a wifi option

Review 1001

It works great, but the bluetooth doesn't have a very long reach so it would be great if they made another one with a wifi option, also it would be great if it was rechargeable.

How about Apple watch support

TBonePickenz

Need a setting to turn water alarms off please. Apple watch support would be great too. App does a nice job paring with the device.

Love this for travel

K.B. in AZ

We got this before a trip to Disneyland in 2015, and the original battery still shows as charged. (It's only turned on when we're on vacation.) It's been used at Disneyland, in Chicago, and at the beach. I love the customizable alerts, the option for a vibration alert (amusement parks are LOUD), and the fact that it requires effort and a little time to remove it (not a lot of time, but enough to make it difficult for a would-be kidnapper to get it off the kid's wrist). The location map is fairly accurate, so it's useful if we split up to go on separate rides or to make a pit stop or grab a cup of coffee -- it helps to track down the spouse and child in Tomorrowland amongst the crowds. There are things that could be improved, but they're small in comparison to the peace of mind we get from having our child wear the My Buddy Tag.

Was very excited

My child like 1/68 in America has autism, a device like this could be life saving. Setup with mild difficulty, tutorial and app are simple but not clear. It tell you to disconnect to save battery but nothing about how to recharge or purchase a new one. Disconnecting totally forgets the device and you must re-pair the device which is inconvenient. The range is also confusing, it goes from short to far instead of an actual feet or meters. I was hopeful because this is inexpensive, unfortunately it's actually CHEAP. Another side note the hardware that keeps it on the child's wrist comes off easily. It is a good tester to see if your child will tolerate wearing a GPS/location device but you definitely get what you pay for.
