Brightspace Pulse is a mobile app for students that can help you stay connected and on track with your Brightspace courses. It gives you one easy view of course calendars, readings, assignments, evaluations, grades, and news. The app will help you to make better decisions about how to handle your workload, when to submit assignments, and when to prepare for tests. Real-time alerts will let you know when classes are cancelled, rooms are moved, or new grades are available. The schedule view and weekly visualization enables you to quickly at a glance view what is due today, this week and upcoming across all your courses.

Needs improvement

Keeps logging out, otherwise app is very handy and useful. If logout problem can be resolved it is a 5 star app

I love everything about this app. It just keeps crashing requiring me to have to log back in.

App constantly signs me out, every time I want to look at something I have to sign in whether my visits are 2mins apart, or 2 days apart. Every time I sign in, it inevitably tells me my classes are not available. I spend more time signing in and trying to load my classes than I have actually using the app. Once inside, you’re unable to access areas that are not part of the modules. For example, the getting started Discussion or the questions discussion. A significant oversight. It’s bare bones, so don’t expect much. I’m not impressed with it at all.

Basic app, could be better. Many things can’t be accessed and can only be accessed on a computer which is inconvenient. Better than nothing.

Enjoy using the app. Works well with reminders of assignments. The only issue that I see as annoying is sometimes I have to completely re-enter my schools information due to app issues.

Time Delays

The app itself opens well and all of the information loads completely. The time delay between opening the app and the tabs inside it takes longer than it should.

It’s useful but defined could be much better

The app does not sync updates in real time effectively and you can not enter submissions through it which is seriously inconvenient. Especially if you are in an emergency situation but you still need to get your assignments turned in. It also would be nice if you can use the function of a rotating screen while using the app.
