Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will host the 2016 Summer Olympics, the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, also abbreviated as Rio 2016. The games will take place from August 5 to August 21, 2016. More than 10,500 athletes from 206 countries are attending the event. For the first time in history South Sudan and Kosovo will participate. This edition of the Olympic Games will feature 28 sports and 306 sets of medals. The games will take place in 38 venues among Rio and other cities as São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Brasília, and Manaus. The Rio Games will mark three world records: it’s the first time in history that a South American country is hosting the Olympics; but also the first time they are held in a Portuguese-speaking country; and for the first time they take place during the winter season in the host country.

Loads quickly, easy to find the day you are interested in but no master query for the sport you are looking for.
It's a cleaned simple App to let you access schedule and information on events. I was hoping to have notification options available to alert me the event about to happen and alert me to go back to check out score and metal...
I wish I could figure out a way for it to notify me when there are events I want to see. That's the only issue though.
Just downloaded. Looking through I'm satisfied with this app. I only wish we could set an alert for the specific events I would like to watch. But so far so good!
Alerts would be great! In addition, I am unclear if it is showing me LOCAL start times, or the start times in Brazil.
The schedule shows the date, time and sport, but offers no details on the specific event or the countries/athletes that are competing. No way to set notifications for yourself either. Overall, it's decently useful, but would be much better with a little more added info and functionality.
What's the point of an app that doesn't list the countries? It says the dates and times of the events but not which countries are competing in them.
