True to board game

I have played this with friends face to face. Rules are correct and computer characters help sharpen your skills

In phrase two, can’t make any actions.

My New Toilet Game

Nothing kills the time sitting in the washroom like a great eurogame port, and boy am I happy to find a solid app version of Brass. The art is lovely, the interface functional, and the game is, of course, fantastic. The only reason this app does not earn a full 5 star rating is that I, like a few other folks before me it seems, am bothered by the lack of an undo button available before finalizing your turn. Nothing ruins a good game of Brass like gambling it all for a shipyard in Birkenhead only to realize you’ve just accidentally spent 8 quid on port development. Weak a critique as that is, you should definitely still buy this port if you love Brass.

I drink your milkshake

I speak to myself as daniel plainview while playing this amazing game. Highly recommended for the strategy. There are some difficulties to overcome visually but the experience is a rush. Winning is a good feeling.

Decent implementation, needs work

Animations are painfully, and I mean painfully, slow, with no option to skip them or speed them up. Also, with no undo button, erroneous clicks are unforgiving, especially in online play. Not major flaws, but for a game of this price I’m surprised to find such basic features lacking.

Not super easy to keep track of different colors

It would be great if the visuals showed greater difference between players, just having hats or colored border canals isn’t easy to see quickly. Also undo button would be great. Also being able to pull up interlays while it is ai turn.

Tough but good

The fact that I played for the first time 2 days ago and 3 games later have not done better than 3rd makes it a great game. I am usually sick of them because they are too easy to win with no replay value.

Brass at last!

HarborFan

I'm so glad they did Brass (one of my few perfect 10-rated games) and not Age of Industry (some would say the watered-down version of Brass). The interface is awesome and so is the tutorial. The AI is the only thing I'm dinging one star for, as it's not terribly strong at the moment. But I have high hopes they will be improving it as time goes on. For anyone who wants to play one of the heavy-hitter board games on their iPad get this!

Good, with crashes

Good implementation of a great and classic board game. Crashes about 8-10 times per game on my iPad 2 which makes things quite annoying.

Its not fun
