Ive been using the real pedals for about 20 years. I really wanted this app to work well with the phones internal mic for my acoustic and ukulele but the LEDs jump around too much. I dont trust it. Smoother LED motion in the updates! maybe Ill be back.
I got this app to tune my cheap acoustic guitar, and this actually does the job. I have the real tuner for my electric gear, for the record. I’d be willing to actually buy the app if that meant the notifications would go away. This is indeed a free app, but please give us a way to remove these notifications.
Played an open E followed by G-Minor and the Hookers Came a Flowing on their 3 legged donkeys and thats when it got serious the E string broke and smacked the hoe in the face while Open E was in Sustain
Please make it so more pedals are available for the guitar/iPhone connection and aux out to an amp!! Would love to have the discontinued DS-2 turbo to play with again..
I've used Boss tuners for years on my pedalboards. Always great, no-fuss tuning. I especially like my TU-3, with its nice array of LEDs, makes tuning a breeze. So, obviously I was excited to find this app. Very glitchy. Does not track strings well, even with the sensitivity maxed out. Function buttons do not seem to do anything. Not smooth and easy like the real pedal. Hope they can improve on it. TC's Polytune app is just like the real thing.
Screen goes into auto lock even when you're actively using the tuner. That's just plain silly. I don't want to have change my phone auto lock setting every time I use the tuner. I'm deleting this app until this is fixed.
For the reviewers commenting on fixing the Mode button. If you read the in app help it states that the two buttons are not functional. It's basically just a picture of the hardware pedal. You'll notice the 1/4 jacks on the side. They don't work either. ;-) The tuner works just fine! Oh, and TC Polytune isn't on the App Store anymore that I can find FYI.
