I find it humorous that they called this app a genius app. Has anyone measured its IQ? I always find it frustrating when searching for specifics on vehicle options from BMW. Because features can vary significantly between countries, you never know what is actually provided for the vehicle you are attempting to order. Dealerships are incapable of giving you a clear explanation, especially for technical features, and seldom do they have vehicles on the floor demonstrating first hand. As a result your only option is to search online. This application made me feel hopeful that finally BMW was attempting to close that gap. Oh well… Maybe next time. Customers are left with the only option of using YouTube searches. Still you run the risk of seeing a feature demonstrated which is not available in your country.

Made an appointment with a real live genius to coincide with a service appointment. When I arrived I was told that that location doesn’t have a genius and that they only work out of there sister store. But here is a card sir...download this app and it’ll tell you everything you need to know. Generic, no sound on videos...worthless!

No audio on ipad

What is this app supposed to do? Waste of space on your phone. Like most of the BMW apps it is not particularly functional. It’s just BMW trying to have a branding presence on your phone.

I get more information on specs and useful features for a $100 electronic gadget. I expect more re features for a $50K purchase. App is basically useless in explaining all of the functionality of the car mode you select. I recognize that only a few features come standard in the 330i and that the rest are dependent on the various packages, but would be better to incorporate feature explanations for all options/packages so all buyers can understand functionality of their car.
