If I went to my job 5% of the time and never cooperated with people trying to help me work more often, I would get fired. It doesn’t work. That’s the problem. Which is unfortunate because the audio that 5% of the time is exceedingly well-sourced. Shameful application.
Using with NAD servers and this app is overall an excellent piece of software. Occasionally it bugs out but no more than any other app. Responsive and intuitive to use.
For most part the app works fine. It takes some time to get used to it but once it’s set up it works fine. The one thing I really don’t understand why it doesn’t do is allow me to control the volume using iPhone’s volume button (like you can do with Bluetooth or airplay speakers). It doesn’t do that even when app is open and volume controls are right there. If this can be fixed it could be good solid 5 star app.
Poor connectivity. Seems very buggy. Excellent sound quality when working but irritating when it cuts out. It’s not a WiFi issue on this end, plenty of streaming services work fine. When I stream MQA through other means there are no issues. Really hoping blue sound can correct these problems through an update.
This app is utter garbage. So buggy and the set up is HORRIBLE. They should fire their app dev team and start over.
The app does not stay connected to a NAD M10 or a Bluesound Node2i. Some times it connects, next time it does not. I use Roon which always works so the problem is with this app. Considering this has been a problem for years and still persists indicates that NAD/Bluesound need some serious help with app development. The fact that they can’t get this right does not say much about this company. With Roon the Nad M10 works great. But my daughter needs the app so she can change the input on her Node 2i.
Can’t sign into to quboz due to poor exchange even made me think my password was wrong Says there are updates for this app but won’t let me download them Says there are updates for the player that only the app can send to it... won’t let me download them Says I have no internet signal. Lol I’m next to a router with 100 down and 30 up dedicated with a speed test confirming so it’s written to say that when there’s a bug Guess I just have to return this DAC due to a poorly written app
I changed my review when I realized the connectivity issues I was experiencing was due to my router, not this app. I switched from Wifi to Ethernet cable and now it works flawless. They could work on increasing the stability of the app on wifis thou - perhaps better error handling and retries.
Hi! I am an iPhone user and this app barely works without an issue. It is extremely hard to connect and get it to just work with airplay on my system. Each time it is a fight. It seriously makes me drag my feet to listen some awesome Music! That is sad!
Just got it and have been using for a couple days with no issues. Great interface. Easy to setup. Bug free so far. Try for yourself.
