The app shows detailed information from the GPS receiver including:
- The number of GPS satellites in view and their signal strength
- Your current location, or an indication that the device is still waiting for satellite information
- Whether or not the GPS receiver is actively connected to the iPad/iPod touch/iPhone
- The battery level of the GPS receiver
- Whether or not the GPS receiver is charging
Installation of this app is optional. You do not have to install this app in order to make the GPS receiver work with your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

The app is ok, could be iPad native but sine it's just to check some stuff it's ok, the battery indicator does not seem to work always shows 100%. I do have to say the xgps150 is awesome with our iPad 2 wifi only ! Still looking for an app for a europe trip......

This app works perfectly. I sure think this app and the XGPS150 are excellent products for use on the iPad. What a great solution to WIFI iPads. Please make an iPad version of this app and I'll give it 6 stars. lol. Or at least let it auto-rotate on the iPad.

App is good to see that altitude is correct but it does not feed correct info to wingxpro it's off almost 1000ft no reason for this if this app actually feeds the info to wingxpro so be careful as it is not feeding the correct altitude I'm sure there is an easy fix like getting apple to allow wingxpro to use this info I'll do more research but so far not impressed with compatibility.

I like the app with my iPad2. Gives good info with the DualX150 gps. I like the altitude, heading, and speed, as well as having several options for referencing the lat. long. data.

Provides the same status info found on most GPS Units. Needs option or be configured for display in landscape mode for iPad2. iNavx users mount iPads on helm in landscape view. Not easily rotatable to view status.

I sold my BadElf to buy the Dual GPS because I was worried about braking both the GPS and the iPad if I were to hit it against something. I use this every day at work. I am a Flight Instructor and this has made my job easier. Thank you Steve Jobs and all the awesome app developers out there for making my life easier.
