This is a must have for any skill level mechanic. would have given it a 5 star but let’s face it nothing is perfect. The blue driver is worthy of a 4.9.

I received my OBD two weeks ago. I couldn't get it to work. I called Chris and after several hours he decided it may be a bad OBD. He sent a new one which I received yesterday and it still didn't work. Talked to Chris for a couple more hours. He emailed me a specific set of instructions. They didn't help. I called him again and he was gone for the day. I tried again for another hour and then thought about using my iPad 3.2 which uses iOS 9.3.5. It worked immediately! So Lemur needs to update their software to work with the current iOS. Other than that the support was there but I would expect them to know their software better. I received a response from support recommending I update it 11.1.2 which I did. It still doesn't work and now neither does my iPad!! Instead of blaming Apple they should be working with them to find the problem, otherwise, their claim of excellent support is just hot air.

I can only see basic info on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I am told this is due to Fiat system used in these Jeeps. Problem is that I have had some error lights for 4WD Service and the emergency brake that don’t trigger a check engine light and so no codes can be seen on the basic scan. Please guys, let’s get on this soon!

I have an X3 BMW that had the Service Engine Soon light on. My experience with other BMWs I have had cost me a lot to have serviced. I connected the blue driver, read the codes, and was able to clear the codes causing the SES light to go off. This is a very sophisticated app with a series of videos instructing you how to use it. FANTASTIC! Jack L

Device is stuck in a firmware update loop on iPhone, so no joy there. Using iPad app, clearing a code never worked (kept coming back on vehicle even after issue was resolved). How do I know it was resolved? Because using a different OBD scanner and software product actually worked to clear the code after the repairs. The BlueDriver/Lemur product could never make the code clearing "stick" after the repairs.

Installed BD app while on IOS 11.1.1 then read a reviewer having an issue, so updated to latest IOS and took BD out of the box plugged it in to my 2012 Challenger SRT8 and It worked immediately and it even pulled my VIN without needing me to scan the VIN barcode wherever that is. Can’t wait to take the car out to see if I can troubleshoot why my vehicle is hesitant to change into 4th gear automatically on occasion. Noticed a service bulletin for my cars TCM so it may need a flash update to correct this occasional delay changing into 4th. Awesome job BD ( Blue Driver ) I never write reviews but felt compelled to for other iPhone users who may read the review of BD not working with IOS 11.1.2 . It works perfectly

Works good except it does not pick up the “LOW ENGINE OIL LIGHT” which comes on after i drive 2 miles every day in my wife's LS430,2005? That was the reason i bought this Blue Driver Scanner?and the fact that their were over 2,146+reviews on this scanner and was rated the best of all scanners under $100.00 I previously bought the FIXD Scanner and it didn’t pick up anything and is an advertising scam. This Blue Driver picked codes and modules on my LS460 that FIXD didn’t pick up. ? Excellent value and with better code explanations a 5 star rating ? I have tried Blue Driverit on my other cars 05,Corvette, Lexus GS350,2015, & 2016 Gensis and works fine picking up any codes etc... For improvements need better explanations how to repair and or explain codes ##### thoroughly

Great scanner that provides the codes for the issue that are used to identify root cause. I am awaiting the Honda and Acura update and I will give it 5 stars once it is released and does what it should do for my cars. I did send in a request to be apart of their beta to test on the Honda and Acura, but never received a response, so I hope it works for my model of vehicles for a Fit 2009 and Acura TL 2003 when the update is released.
