Great reference when away from my library

At any finger tips I have search tools, a lexicon and concordance. If , and when, I forget the exact phrasing of a verse; or, I need to put a verse in context, this app is there.

Still the Best

Simply the best electronic Bible there is. The online resources are stunning. The depth is amazing. And yet all very accessible. The best! Addendum: Since my last review, other Bible apps have continued to improve. But so has BLB. It is still the best, IMO. I do wish the BLB would include A.T. Robertson’s Word Pictures of the New Testament as one of its references. The included NT lexicons (Strong’s and Thayer’s) are good, but they lack the philological depth provided by Robertson who remains the most, or at least one of the most important linguistic resources in all of New Testament textual studies. Other Bible apps have links that include Robertson’s work. I think the BLB should have it as well, mostly because the particular implementations of Robertson in those other apps is not particularly good And is even, at times, confusing.

1st time

This is my first time using this app. I chose this app because I have an older version iPad, I’m not going to buy another as this one is in perfect condition and repurposing it for something greater. I love the features this app comes with and I love my iPad again. God bless you and your purpose developers.

Eh

Idk, I’ve been using this Bible for a couple years. And after an update the only versions of bible’s available to me is now only KJV and CSB. And I use NASB. So only having two versions and not the version I like. I don’t like it.

Glitch

I absolutely love this app, but about 90% of the time, it takes multiple attempts to actually get the app open. I’ll click, reclick, close it, click again, and I’ll do that over and over with no chance of it actually opening except by some random chance. I don’t want to delete the app, but I just wish I could get fixed to have a consistent opening ability.

There’s better apps out there.

Their translations are limited. They don’t include apocrypha or deuterocannon anywhere and their articles and discussion are sorely lacking. Bible Gateway is a much better app.

Bible Teaching

Acts1044

Great resource for cross referencing scriptures on all topics including Sally, Water Baptism using the formula, Holy Ghost. All

Thanks to blue letter Bible

I really appreciate Blue Letter Bible. It’s a well put together free app that helps me study the word. I use it often in my Bible study and anytime I need to look up the meaning of a word in the original language I can do it quickly and easily. It has been a tremendous help and is amazingly easy to use!

Thanks
