The scrolling on this Bible app does not work correctly you cannot adjust the speed. Please some one fix it. I love this app but this is annoying.

WAS GREAT, Problems After Upgrade

I am revising a review I did a few days ago. This has been a five star app for a long time. There were some issues with the last upgrade. The Blue Letter Bible team contacted me quickly and I found out from them one issue was not an issue but a setting that had changed or was added in the upgrade. I turned it off and was what I desired again. It is a setting with the headers and you can turn them on if you like or turn them off if you like. The other was a real bug which they were able to reproduce. The developer emailed me that he will be fixing it. That is tremendous service. So officially raising it to four stars for right now but after an update will re-review and hopefully I can put it back to the five stars that I have considered it for a very long time.

I love this app so much, it’s easy to navigate and I love being able to access a number of commentaries while doing the OYB reading plan. I also love that I have access to all translations even though I’m prone to using NKJV. I recommend this app all the time because it’s such a blessing when studying God’s Word!

Blue Letter Bible has so much richness. I read the historical one year bible plan. The bookmark feature has allowed me to save a personal index of favorite subjects and verses. I start my blog every day using the clipboard feature which allows me to copy and paste any verse to my post. We all have favorite apps, so this one is mine. Their newsletter is also informative, and the text commentaries shed light on more complicated books (Revelation) and provide a different perspective from my own. I also like the Reformed view on scripture:

frustrated by pericopes

I have LOVED your app for many years (always a five star rating) as it afforded me many tools to use as I read the bible. Note: With the introduction of pericopes we did provide the option to turn them off. Click on the Preferences gear (bottom-right corner) Select Font/Text At the bottom slide it to off

Update was very disappointing

I would’ve given this app a five star review until I upgraded my phone and in doing so it downloaded the update. I had hundreds upon hundreds of verses highlighted and everyone of my highlights disappeared. Now I cannot highlight even though it says that I can create specific highlights. My dad had the same problem on his phone. Lost all my notes as well on particular verses. Very disheartening as those were some of the best features! If you have not downloaded the update I would recommend that you DO NOT DO IT! Unless of course you don’t have any notes or highlights already and you don’t plan to highlight in the future
