Thx Bloomberg for this - I can listen when I’m out of frequency range.
Improvement comment - a subtitle even better. Everything else is perfect. Best of its kind in business news radio
Radio plus slows down current iPhones and Apple states it will be incompatible with the next iOS update. I hope Bloomberg will take note and update their application. I love their programs. I find the background colors make the text hard to read. I can’t figure out how to get saved programs to play sequentially
I'm a longtime listener of Bloomberg radio on 1130 am, but the signal where I live in Bucks County, PA, varies a lot, depending on propagation and the requirement for the station to reduce transmitter power near sunset. Hence, I really appreciate the ability to listen static free via the internet, whether at home or away. This dedicated app is the most direct and convenient access on iPad, iPod, or cell. Lately, however, I find very annoying the addition of a barrage of ads whenever I start the app or anytime the internet connection is interrupted, even very briefly, with the consequent loss of program material. Particularly offensive is that the first startup ad runs twice at each startup. I have no complaint, however, about listening on the internet to the same ads as on broadcast radio. Of course, programs have to be paid for. Startup ads aside, Bloomberg radio is the best source of thoughtful, balanced economic and business news and information, and Surveillance with Tom Kean is the best of the best. Way to many commercials that repeat and repeat. Finally the host speaks and mostly jokes about football teams.
Frequently drops out, overloaded with the same repetitive commercials, commercials seem to precede on drain, reconnect, sports announcers mispronounce names regularly, new people seem not to read their copy before announcing and also have pronunciation problems with foreign names, host too often cut of guests as they reach the end of a point, the hosts cut off guest abruptly as they near breaks, but most host are exceptionally well informed and worth all the trouble.
Intelligent financial and political news. My only wish is that you’d include the Asian markets segment as a podcast.
Watch new iPhone X users, I’m finding it nearly impossible to close the Radio+ app with my X. I’m sure it will be patched soon. The app will not close or minimize with an upward swipe from the bottom of the screen.
Lots of insightful and up to date useful information. Financial and global news that’s needed to be current with today’s topics and market movements.
