Error 403

HerVoirness

Specifically downloaded this app to iPad so I could update my Blogger account using photos directly from the iPad. Google is having none of it and gives me a 403 message when I enter my blogspot address.

When it works...

It works nicely...but not always reliable. Thought we were up and running after the huge IOS update issues. However, the current problem which just started for me is inability to Save or Publish my blog post. Getting a “Failure to upload” and “Internal Error” message - Please try again later. I can successfully publish a test post which contains only text - but forget it if images are included...no go. Honestly, I would be more than willing to pay for this app if it would help to improve the issues and offer a few more basic options. In the meantime, I sit and wait...and wait...and wait...unable to post to my blog.

When it works, it works ok, but has some issues

Ca2nd

Like other users, I have problems where the posts will randomly just not post. I get an error message and can't save, publish, or schedule a post. Sometimes it is easy to move photos around between paragraphs. Other times it lumps several paragraphs together and will only move them as a block (making it impossible to move the images between paragraphs). The biggest functionality missing is that autocorrect is disabled in the post writing section (but oddly not for the post title). Meaning it doesn't automatically capitalize an I Or add apostrophes when necessary. Or correct typos. This is a huge thing. I don't like posting with it anymore because I spend half of my time deleting and retyping. I continue my search for the best blogger posting app.

Still getting the 403 Error from Google. Any update on the fix for this?

Doesn't work with Blogger on iOS

akeiw12

It doesn't seem to work with Blogger sites on iOS devices, which makes this app completely useless to me. It's such a shame since the actual blogger app is no longer serviced, so there's no easy way of updating blogger sites on mobile devices.

Biggest disappointment ever

This app is a complete disappointment and not worth the money. Stick with WordPress.com. It's free, supports multiple blogs out of the box, and does 99% of what you need a blogging app to do.

My go-to blogging app

There is a lot to love about Blogo, and I highly recommend this app. Three of my favorite features are Media Search, preview, and the ability to write in Markdown. The ability to search for and add royalty-free images through Media Search is something that is unique to Blogo. It requires a Pro subscription. The subscription is worth every penny because Media Search saves a lot of time. Blogo allows you to preview posts to see how they would look on your blog. The ability to do this directly from the app is very useful, especially when you are writing in Markdown. Blogo allows you to write in Markdown! One of my workflows on my iPad is to dictate using Dragon Anywhere in Markdown and copy/paste that text into Blogo. As other reviews have mentioned, Blogo has some bugs. This, however, should not dissuade you from using the app and getting the Pro subscription because support is extremely helpful and responsive. They just fixed a small bug I told him about less than 24 hours ago. They let me know and soon as they identified the cause of the problem and as soon as they implemented the solution. Having Blogo on both my iPad and Mac is wonderful because it allows me to seamlessly work on a post in and out of the office.

Best Yet For my Blogging

I've been blogging for a lot of years and my number one go-to application Microsoft Live Writer. With moving to the Apple Eco-system, I'm not found anything at any price to replace it. Blogo does not replace Live Writer but it does more of what I want in a simple and effective UI. More the any other Mac/iOS blogging application I've found. I gave it 4 stars only because I'm hoping someday a Live Writer equivalent might be build for the Mac/iOS. Until then I'll most likely be using Blogo.

I really like this app

Meg Dalagan

If only I tried Blogo the first time I saw some blog recommending this I wouldn't have to pay some hideous app to get the same functionality. This app doesn't require you to put titles which I love and there's an option so it doesn't warn you if you don't put one. I have a personal blog I keep and adding titles seems to be a chore for me. Not like everyday it deserves a title yknow lol. Great functionalities, no errors or ads everywhere. It's minimalistic that I love.
